~ Javi to Tyler Locke after he intercedes Uncle Duncan. |
Javi is the pseudonym of a demon possessing a popular yet narcissistic student at Matheson Academy and a close friend of Brinker Martin and Eden Hawkins until Dodge remakes his new demonic possessor as her right-hand man, and a supporting antagonist in the seventh and eighth episodes of the second season of Locke & Key.
He was portrayed by Kevin Alves in his first villainous role.
Biography[]

~ Javi reporting to Dodge. |
This demon dwelt in a blue dimension until fellow demon Dodge completed the Demon Key and inserted it into the backside of a teenager named Javi, causing the demon to beam onto Javi and possess him, letting out a surprised and adrenalized series of screeching noises. Dodge, being vindictive, ordered him to bash his head against the wall for the way his host body had perversely ogled her while she had been innocently socializing with Tyler Locke, one of the three Locke children who endeavored to keep her keys out of the hands of their presumed owner. She then sent him to execute Bode for gaslighting her potential allies for months on end, manipulating events to alienate her and gain much undeserved power for himself. Because Duncan was protecting Bode, and Tyler and his allies intervened, Javi failed to end Bode's life. Dodge, being caring, forgave his failure and promised to make him some new friends, leading him back to the cabin as they prepared to assimilate a cliffside residence as headquarters.
He was eventually slain by the demoness within Eden Hawkins when his neck was sliced open by a pair of skates after she caught him spying on her and reporting to his mistress, leaving his corpse in a far off desert through a mysterious door there.
Personality[]
Javi's demonic possessor is a reticent insurgent and enforcer and a man of few words, yet he is unwaveringly loyal to Dodge for bringing him into the mortal plane, offering to find him a new friend group, and giving him purpose as her right-hand man, to unite demon and mankind to live on one world together as equals. Their common ambition to revolutionize society cemented the fact that he would never betray his mistress and he is seen being protective over her. Ultimately, his undoing was underestimating a demoness' fighting prowess.
Abilities[]
Demon Physiology: Javi's demon was able to scale a forest with impressive stamina and easily overpower Duncan Locke. However, he was easily thrown against a tree by Tyler Locke and had his throat sliced easily by Eden Hawkins, who was notably unimpressed by his punch to her forehead.
