The Jealous Bass is a minor antagonist in Mother 3, serving as a major antagonist in Chapter 4. He was Lucky's bass before he got replaced by a new one.
Personality[]
The Jealous Bass was once a prideful instrument used by the illustrious Lucky. Yet, ever since he was abandoned and left in the attic of Club Titiboo, he has grown resentful and prone to mood swings. He has little care when he finally meets someone in the attic, deciding them as another person he gets to take his anger out on.

Backstory[]
At some point, after Duster lost his memory and got taken in to the DCMC, he used the Jealous Bass to perform yet eventually he found himself a newer, and better bass and abandoned the Jealous Bass in the attic of Club Titiboo where he performed.
Mother 3[]
Chapter 4[]
In Chapter 4, Lucas meets the Jealous Bass at the end of Club Titiboo's attic. He initially appears docile, before getting caught in his memories and reminiscing on his past success. The Jealous Bass then decides he'll take his anger out on Lucas, as he and some cohorts try to beat Lucas and Boney up. He fights the two using jam sessions with his instruments, allowing them to attack multiple times until Lucas and Boney defeat his fellow instruments and he resorts to solo jam sessions. His efforts go in vain however, as Lucas and Boney defeat him.
