Biography[]
Jean-Claude Benoit is a Belguim man from Belguim who collects all things Sherlock Holmes and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, at some point he won Conan Doyle's bedpad online by outbidding Cody Martin. Later, he went to London to the Sherlock Holmes Museum to steal the first draft of The Hound of the Baskervilles that was displayed at the museum. He first appears spotting Cody Martin, Bailey Pickett, and Woody Fink looking at it, he approached the trio and told them the book is priceless and tried to fog it up. Later that night, he set his plan in motion, he turn the lights off to make it look like a power shortage as the lights were still off, he flipped the display to make look it like it was stolen. He show up as the lights came on and believed it was a temporary power shortage only for Cody to point out that the book has been stolen.
Benoit takes out his fake badge claiming to be an Inspector from Scotland Yard named Ray-Emit Majors. He has the Constable search them for the missing book and pretends to investigate with Cody who is also investigating the missing book. Seeing Cody as a threat to his plan to steal the book, Benoit throws Cody, Bailey, and Woody out to keep them from looking for the book and tells them to go visit France. He then puts the constable outside as a guard to keep them from coming back in and warns them if he lets them in, he will be cleaning after the Queen's puppies. Benoit went back to continued his plan on stealing the book, but he found Cody and Woody inside searching for the book and Woody had broken a statue and Woody had placed his chips on the podium.
He then chased them out of the museum as the two flee and went back into the museum to continue his plan to steal the book. The next day, he declared the case unsolved as the thief was never out. However, when he spotted two workers attempting to moved the podium, he told them that it's going back with him to the evidence locker. Suddenly, Cody and Woody to stop him, Benoit ordered the Constable to arrest them but Cody stop him and states he knows who stole the book though he doesn't believed. Cody then decided to proved it only for Bailey to show up and wondering when is he going to give this up.
Cody then decided to proved to everyone that Benoit is the thief though the Constable told him that Benoit is an inspector from Scotland Yard and saw his badge, but Cody told him that Benoit's badge was a fake and an imposter also Benoit isn't even british. When asking Cody why he was questioning his nationality, Cody points that out Benoit was complaining how Woody was making a mess with his fries but he points that a Brit would called fries Chips. Cody then suspects that Benoit could be Belguim, the same one who outbid him online for Conan Doyle's bedpad though Benoit doesn't believed him and claims his name is Ray-Emit Majors only for Cody to unscrambled as James Morality. He points out that James Morality is Sherlock Holmes' arch-nemesis and Benoit is Belguim's No. 1 Sherlock Holmes collector: Jean-Claude Benoit whose username is Waffleman221. Benoit then told him that he doesn't have the book and started poking at him but Cody presented him Woody's t-shirt that had a stain on it but it was a pudding stain he first show and then show a wood stain that was from Benoit's fingernails when he threw Cody, Bailey, and Woody out.
Cody concludes the wood stain is from the podium in which he used to hid the book by hiding it over inside. Benoit gets furious that his plan has been ruin but while no one was looking, he secretly took the book out of and started to run out of the match in front of a croquet match with Cody, Woody, and Bailey giving chase. He took them back off or he'll rip up the book but was then hit by a croquet ball from Marcus Little, a friend of Cody, Bailey, and Woody's. With the book save, Benoit was then arrested.
