Jeannie May Crawford is a minor antagonist in the 2010 action-roleplaying video game Fallout: New Vegas, acting as the main antagonist of the quest "One for My Baby". She is an obsessed woman who spends all her time making sure that everyone treats Novac with the respect it deserves. She would eventually be killed by Craig Boone after The Courier found evidence that Crawford had sold Boone's pregnant wife to Caesar's Legion.
She was voiced by Marianne Muellerleile.
Biography[]
Before the events of the game, Crawford spent all her time on making sure that Novac got the respect it deserved as she noticed the townspeople worked hard to keep it safe and clean. If anyone disrespected or attacked the town, she would become angry towards others and jump to the town's defense telling passers about the hard work the citizens do and if she is asked about the ghouls led by Jason Bright, she will coldly say that she would not care if they were all massacred by either the snipers or just anything.
Also, when Craig Boone and his wife Carla came into the town one day Carla hated the town deeply which caused Crawford to develop anger problems with her to the point where she decided to get rid of her by selling her to Caesar's Legion. She gave The Legion directions to the Boone's motel room so that Carla would be taken quickly before others noticed The Legion had entered Novac. Crawford lied about Carla's disappearance and said that she had just ran off due to finally being fed up with the town, but Boone believed she was kidnapped.
One For My Baby[]
The Courier meets Boone inside the sniper nest inside the mouth of the dinosaur. Boone is initially dismissive towards The Courier but asks him if he could help him find the culprit behind his wife's disappearance and gives him his beret use and wear as a signal for Boone to kill the person that The Courier is standing with in front of the dinosaur. The Courier finds a bill of sale inside Crawford's safe saying she got 1,500 caps for selling Carla to The Legion and was waiting for a 500 bonus from The Legion. After finding out about this The Courier asks Jeannie May Crawford to meet them outside the mouth of the dinosaur and when Crawford makes it to the destination Boone blows her head off with a bullet from his sniper rifle and then Boone asks the Courier how they knew. The Courier shows Boone the bill of sale and Boone realizes he has no purpose in life other than killing Legionaries but decides to follow The Courier after realizing that the two would be better together.
