Jed is the main antagonist of the non-canon film Hunter X Hunter: The Last Mission. He is an original character who has no connections to the main series; Jed was a former leader of the Hunter Association’s Shadow organization.
He was voiced by Nakamura Shidō II in Japanese, and by the late Billy Kametz in the English dub.
Personality[]
Jed is a man consumed by vengeance and hatred towards the Hunters, whom he views as evildoers. However, he still values the lives of his followers, as shown when he openly grieves for their deaths.
Biography[]
Jed is the leader of The Shadow, a secret organization affiliated with the Hunter Association. He was once a friendly rival of Isaac Netero, the Chairman of the Hunter Association. Jed and his group members are wiped out by Netero for their extremist actions, but they are later revived in the movie “The Last Mission.”
Abilities & Powers[]
Since Jed was a Hunter, he was once capable of utilizing Nen. However, Jed is now powered by his feelings of malice though On. He can transmit his On to other people though his blood, using it to either shoot powerful beams or conjure a gigantic Rakshasa as his signature attack.
