Jeffery is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Mr. White) of the Class of '09 franchise.
He is voiced by the creator Max Field who also voices Kylar and Nicole's Brother in the same franchise.
Biography[]
Jeffery is the stereotypical weird kid at Nicole's new school, but unlike most examples, his status is revealed to be deserved; getting to know him will reveal that he is a vindictive sexual harasser who believes himself to be entitled to attention from his female classmates. His desire to fit in often causes him to involve himself in shady groups like the Straight Club or Mr. White's supremacist cult. In the latter example, he is revealed to be the only member who wasn't really brainwashed when he outright says he only joined for a sense of belonging. When Nicole offers to date him, he prepares to leave the cult because he no longer needs their community, which results in him being executed by a brainwashed Jecka.
Jeffery frequently faces bullying from the other students, especially Jecka, Kyle, Emily, Hunter, and Kylar who find him to be weird, creepy, and annoying. In the route where Nicole exposes his various fetishes for catgirls and giant women, the whole school collectively makes fun of him, resulting in him going on a shooting spree and murdering the entire cast. He also goes on a shooting spree in the animation, but because Nicole and Jecka were in his good graces at the moment due to having flirted with him (because they lost a bet, unbeknownst to Jeffery), they are presumably spared. In the Statewide Expulsion ending, the player can also get a text from Jeffery saying he wants to meet Nicole at the Burger King she works at and kill her with a baseball bat.
Jeffery is also shown to be spiteful, such as when he exposes Kylar for kissing a boy, or when he takes nude pictures of Nicole and tauntingly says he will develop and sell them as revenge for picking on him.
Jeffery is also apparently the smartest kid in school, as he is valedictorian when he graduates - in the ending where he is manipulated into doing all of Nicole's schoolwork for her, she is valedictorian. Despite his intelligence, it was revealed in the texts you can get in the first game for completing endings that he hadn't done anything to earn extra-curricular credits, thus getting him rejected from every college he applied to. This forced him to get a job at a gas station.
Class of '09 Short[]
In the 3-minute short released in 2023, Jeffery can be heard at the end. Here he went insane from the bullying and went on a rampage and started shooting up the school. During the credits he was heard shouting his usual insistences about manga and how anime women are better than real ones.
Class of '09: The Anime Pilot
Jeffery appears as the main antagonist in which Jecka bribes him with a photo she claimed were of her bare breasts, unbeknown to him it actually was a photo Emily gave Jecka of Kelly's breasts, to buy several hundred dollars worth of merchandise, only to walk out of the store claiming to forget his wallet.
Jeffery later appears at the end, demanding payment, having seen through Jecka's deception. He demands that she must show him her own naked body right now, while Jecka and Nicole are currently going through a break-up in their friendship, because Nicole tattled on her. Nicole then slams Jeffery's head into the railing, where he bleeds out and dies, where to which Jecka forgives Nicole by doing this.
