~ Hudson threatening to kill Athena Grant-Nash's son. |
Jeffrey Hudson is a supporting antagonist in the TV series 9-11. He is a serial rapist, and the archnemesis of series protagonist Athena Grant-Nash.
He is portrayed by Noah Bean.
Overview[]
Hudson works as a real estate agent, and uses drones to record aerial footage of new listings; he also uses them to spy on women so he can stalk and rape them.
Appearances[]
"The One That Got Away"[]
Hudson is using his drone to spy on his latest intended victim, when he accidentally loses control of it and causes an accident that injures a man and his son. Someone calls 9-11, and LAPD Sergeant Athena Grant-Nash responds. When she arrests him for flying a drone over private property, he claims to have been recording aerial footage of a new listing for his real estate business, even though he does not have a remote pilot's license. She turns him over to the FBI, who let him go with a warning not to do it again.
Grant-Nash remains suspicious of him, however, and runs his fingerprints through a national criminal database; she discovers that he is a suspect in multiple rapes. By then, however, he has gone into hiding. Grant-Nash tracks Hudson to a self-storage space he rented, where he blindsides her, beats her, and tries to rape her. She manages to get away from him, however, and shoots him in the crotch, effectively castrating him, before she arrests him.
"Powerless"[]
Hudson is charged with six counts of rape and one count of attempted murder of a police officer. He fires his lawyer and declares that he will represent himself, tormenting his victims once again when he calls them as witnesses or cross-examines them.
During the trial, a ransomware attack hits Los Angeles, and Hudson uses the chaos to escape police custody. Grant-Nash and her partner, Detective Lou Ronsone, deduce that Hudson would hide out with one of the women who have become his "fan club" following his arrest, sending him love letters and even proposing marriage. However, Hudson went into hiding with his lawyer, who was also his lover. Obsessed with getting revenge against Grant-Nash, Hudson kidnaps her son, Harry, who briefly manages to escape before Hudson captures him once again. Hudson then seals Harry inside the wall of an abandoned building.
"Desperate Measures"[]
Hudson contacts Grant-Nash and taunts her that her son is going to die. He then murders his lawyer.
Eventually, Grant-Nash manages to track him to a metro station with help from her ex-husband Michael, Harry's father. Hudson points his gun at Bobby. threatening to kill him, leaving Grant-Nash with no choice but to open fire on him. Hudson, mortally wounded, taunts her one last time by saying that his weapon is unloaded, plaguing her with the knowledge that she killed someone when she did not have to. Fortunately, however, Grant-Nash, Michael and Bobby are able to find and rescue Harry.
