Jennifer "Jen" Rijkers is the main antagonist of the horror anthology series Slasher. She appears in Season 3 and is revealed to be the mastermind behind The Druid copycat murders.
She was portrayed by Mercedes Morris. In-costume scenes as The Druid were portrayed by Geoff Scovell and Brook Jones.
Biography[]
Jennifer and her brother Connor Rijkers were the children of Justine Rijkers and likely born in Ashcroft County, Ontario. They lived in an apartment complex with Justine's wife, Amber Ciotti. One night on Summer Solstice, a brutal murder committed by a masked murderer named The Druid took place near and in the apartment. The victim was Kit Jennings, a promiscuous bisexual man who had run-ins with Justine before. Fed up with Kit and after realizing he had been killed, Justine took a picture of his body, mocking Kit online. A girl named Saadia Jalazai saw the photo and made a comment saying it was a screwed up thing to post. Other commenters agreed, and soon Justine and her family were harassed by online commentators and shunned by their fellow neighbors. A while later, Justine couldn't take the abuse anymore and lit herself on fire in front of the apartment complex, calling all the other neighbors hypocrites. Jennifer and Connor tried to stop their mother, but to no avail, and they had to watch her burn.
A year later, nearing the next Solstice and the anniversary of Kit's death, Jen concocts a plan, along with her brother to take revenge on their neighbors for driving their mother to suicide. They dressed up like The Druid and began a series of brutal murders on the neighbors of the apartment complex.
