Jennifer "Jenny" Humphrey is a major character in the Gossip Girl franchise, as well as the main antagonist of the third season and one of the two secondary antagonists (Alongside Vanessa Abrams) of the fourth season.
Jenny is initially introduced as a nice girl and the sister of Dan Humphrey and daugther of Rufus Humphrey, however across the series she becomes more corrupted and a worse person.
She was portrayed by Taylor Momsen.
Season 1[]
Jenny was a Constance student in season 1 of Gossip Girl. She is a nice girl who is bullied by Blair Waldorf and her friends. She makes it into the group and tries to take over it and fails due to Blair winning the scheme fight. Jenny was not a villain yet.
Season 2[]
Jenny starts finding interest in fashion school and skips school at Constance to go to Eleanor Waldorf Designs, mother of Blair Waldorf. She made a dress that was misplaced into one of Eleanor's shows and Jenny was praised by Eleanor, fans and even Blair. She later decides to fight by the law for self guardianship so she can make her own fashion design, this is later shut down after her business partner, Agnes, burns down all the designs. Jenny have decided to go back to the Humphreys, but still had ideas and plans of fullfilling her fashion dreams. Jenny was still not a villain yet.
Season 3[]
In Season 3, Jenny becomes the Queen of Constance, at the start she doesn't wanna be a bully and mean girl like Blair. However in 3x09 at the cotillion event in season 3, Jenny quote on quote ends Blair's era and the headband era Blair wore in the 2000's. In the same episode, Blair Waldorf and Eric tries to sabotage Jenny by cancelling her escort unknowingly, however Jenny quickly gets a new escort and wins the event. Later on after Jenny found out that Eric has been sabotaging her, she stays up till his plans and makes sure they never work and they never do, after this then Eric's boyfriend breaks with him due to Jenny's impact.
After this Jenny starts dating Damian, a drug dealer, she quickly becomes a drug dealer herself and helps him in his deals, but after some time Jenny breaks up with him. Jenny later finds out she wants to get with Nate after he took care of her a lot during her time as dealing with drugs, however Nate was seeing Serena, and at the same time Serena was finding her father after not seeing him for over a decade. Jenny sabotages their relationship and steals Nate after many attempts, and in the process she also ruins Dan and Vanessa's relationship since she accused Serena of cheating on Nate with Dan which lead to Vanessa breaking up with him. However, Nate finds out about what Jenny did and moves on from her. Jenny then sabotages Serena and her father's relationship out of spite, which was somewhat succeeded. She then tries to manipulate her father to have a divorce with her which lead to some affects and problems in their marriage, which was later turned into a divorce in the fifth season.
At the end of the season she sleeps with Charles Bass, Blair Waldorf's boyfriend and was soon to be husband, which made them break up. After everything that happened, Jenny knew her wrongs and moved out of Manhattan and to Hudson, New York.
Season 4[]
Jenny was downgraded as a recurring character due to the actress wanting to focus on her singing career.
Jenny returns to New York for a job interview with Tim Gunn in 4x06, while Blair puts forth her best efforts to send Jenny back to Hudson prompting Jenny to reveal that she slept with Chuck and lies about it to make Blair look bad, giving her the last laugh against Blair.
In 4x09 Jenny returns again to join forces with Vanessa Abrams and Juliet Sharp to take down Serena Van Der Woodsen for good. And they almost did, Jenny alongside Vanessa and Juliet ruined her relationship with Blair, Chuck, Dan and Nate. Later on, Juliet ended up drugging Serena. Jenny wanted to go and tell the others about what they did after the drugging because Jenny didn't know and thought it was too far, but Vanessa already told them and framed it on Jenny. After that, Jenny went to Blair and told her the truth, Jenny and Blair managed to scare Vanessa out of town, but Jenny decided to also leave town after making truce with Blair once and for all.
Season 6[]
Jenny comes back for the last episode to attend Dan and Serena's wedding, it is also confirmed she made a fashion brand with Blair Waldorf if you look at the bag Jenny is holding.

- Jenny is the third queen of Constance, Blair first, then Serena, then Jenny herself, then an unknown person and then Sage.

- A big reason the character's appearance changed a lot in terms of clothing and style is for the actress to be more comfortable while portraying her.
