Biography[]
Backstory[]
Much of Jeremy's early life is unknown. We are first shown him chronologically when he was admitted into Ravenhill, in a temporary attempt to monitor his worsening anxiety. He was tasked to bring Nurse Edwina Kenchington breakfast one morning and noticed a mistake with one of her equations, impressing her enough for the two to start trying to crack the code to creating life together.
Sometime after this Jeremy attended a review meeting for his progress and panicked upon hearing he would be discharged so as such pretended he could see the figment of a being he called the Silent Singer around the board. They declared him insane and he was allowed to stay much to his satisfaction as it meant he could continue helping Kenchington. Unfortunately for Jeremy however he managed to accidentally give himself schizophrenia while feigning the image of the Silent Singer for too long, and after solving Kenchington's equation he was eventually discharged and took up work as a librarian.
Psychoville Season Two[]
TBA
Personality[]
Jeremy is a fairly controlling, passive aggressive and easily stressed man who is always quite twitchy and on edge, this is because he is constantly trying to escape the wrath of the Silent Singer and keep his hallucinations under control, over the course of the series his mental state grows progressively worse however to the point where he suffers a mental breakdown.
In spite of this Jeremy is actually a genuinely intelligent man, being a brilliant mathematician and criminal mastermind who always appears to have new tricks up his sleeve in obtaining what he wants.
Appearance[]
Jeremy is a rather unassuming man in his thirties with short, neatly kept brown hair, pale skin, blue eyes and glasses who is of short stature. He is almost always seen wearing a beige suit with black shoes which he sometimes adds a grey trenchcoat over the top of.
Trivia[]
- Jeremy giving himself schizophrenia by accident is something that actually is possible in real life although quite unlikely and still dependent on genetic and environmental factors.
