Jerga is the major antagonist of The Misfit of Demon King Academy anime and light novel series, serving as the main antagonist of the Hero Academy Arc. He was a King of Gairadite and a commander of the Demon King Subjugation Battalion. He founded the Hero Academy in order to remember his existence.
He was Kanon's teacher, he killed him due to Kanon opposed him and the Hero Academy for attempting to kill all demons including the Demon King of Tyranny, Anos Voldigoad.
He is voiced by Akio Ōtsuka (who voiced Blackbeard from One Piece, Dimple from Mob Psycho 100, and All For One from My Hero Academia) in Japanese, and John Snyder in English.

Jerga has immense hate on demons, mostly on the Demon King. He aimed to found the academy to support his goal to annihilate every single demon exists. He's not aware that his actions are heinous, he is unconcerned to humans and Hero Academy students if they were endangered.
He wished to be reunited with his family, given up the peace of the world.
