Jerome is a minor antagonist in Fire Emblem Gaiden and its remake Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. He is a very cruel soldier from Rigel who manipulated one of his own soldiers to work for him.
Appearance
In 'Fire Emblem Gaiden, Jerome reuses Desaix portrait with barely any change made. In Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, he has a much more unique design where he has red armor with yellow trim across it, a red cape, brown hair and a mustache.
Biography
Jerome decided to go against Rudolf's orders and he and his forces alongside Nuibaba terrorizes one of their own village and the people living there. Among the people living there is a Rigel soldier named Zeke and his lover Tatiana, a former Duma Faithful member. Nuibaba capture Tatiana and keeps her hostage, forcing Zeke to work for Jerome.
The Deliverance make their way towards the Rigel Plains, and when Jerome is informed about this, he tell him to bring him Zeke. When Zeke arrives, Jerome tells him about the Deliverance approaching s soon and to mind his allegiances, because if he betray him, Jerome will have Tatiana killed. Unknown for Jerome, Alm and his group killed Nuibaba and freed Tatiana. She arrived on the battlefield to tell Zeke that she is free, and so Zeke and his forces turn in Jerome and attack him and with the help of the Deliverance, they were successful in killing Jerome.
