The Jersey Devil is a creature which is dedicated to terrorize the town of Leeds in New Jersey since 1700s. According to his origin, The Jersey Devil was born a normal human baby. But soon enough, he grew was cursed by his own mother to become an demon.
Description[]
The Jersey Devil is a hooved, almost draconic goat-like being with jet black fur, bat-like wings and a forked tail. The Jersey Devil appears to have a higher intellect then one might assume from such a dastardly beast. It seemed to know of Quetzalcoatl's rising and showed signs of anger and rage at Thomas.
The Devil can breathe fire in massive pillars. His fire is hot enough to melt a cannon and intense enough to burn down multiple houses. The monster is vulnerable to iron. Something that the people of Leeds didn't realize when they first drove him away with iron cannonballs.
His invulnerability is a double edged sword. While he's immune to other kinds of weapons, anything Iron causes him pain. Even an iron bucket caused the beast to flinch.

Past[]
Once a human child, the Jersey Devil was the 13th and final child birthed by Mother Leeds who cursed him to become the demonic monster he is now. Barely being a baby, he assumed his new appearance and fled his home, venting his hatred towards the town that was where he was born, Leeds, New Jersey, earning the nickname of "Jersey Devil".
Centuries passed and the city was struck by the fierceness of the monster by the constant attacks, the residents had nothing to do if the terror continued in their daily lives. There was a day when a man named Stephen Decatur appeared, who had the courage to be the only one to drive away the demon after shooting a cannonball in the stomach, preventing him from returning to town in later years.
It was prophesied that the Jersey Devil would return hungry for devastation when the world came to an end; that would be the day that Quetzalcoatl would come to earth to destroy and remake it.
Legend Quest[]
He appears for the first time in the second episode of the first season, terrorizing the people of Leeds again, after a long time after Sthephen chased him away. After the monster is chased away by Leo, he and his friends are blamed for allegedly luring the monster to town (believing them to be witches), but the monster returns and during his attack, abducts Thomas. And also instrumental in the Devil's ultimate demise because while he was distracted with attacking Leo, Teodora called for Alebrije to fire a cannonball at him. The Jersey Devil ends up with a hole in his chest, then melts into goop. Effectively ending his threat.
Even though the Jersey Devil clearly died at the end of Episode 2, he has a brief mention in Medusa Ghost and the season finale sees multiple Jersey Devils fighting for Quetzalcoatl.
