Jesper Scanlon is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside Mr. Vinnicombe) of the BBC British soap opera EastEnders.

Biography

The unseen Jesper Scanlon was mentioned to be an infamous crime boss who operated in Albert Square within the fictional East London borough known as Walford. He was also confirmed to be a high-ranking senior member of Walford's gangland organization called The Firm, in which Scanlon had possibly served as it's co-leader as The Firm's henchmen Beresford and Vic were confirmed to be working for him.

When the two henchmen came to terrorize Albert Square, it turned out they were instructed to do so by Scanlon and that their boss had authorized them to clamp out racism in the square. It remains unknown if Scanlon was involved in The Firm's objective to eliminate their associate Den Watts, which had been orchestrated by The Firm's fellow leader Jack Dalton and his superior Mr. Vinnicombe in the first place.
