Jessica Mime is a villain and a former enemy of Ant from the Ant comic series. She is a superpowered mime that uses multiple gadgets. She also schemes about taking over the world. She is also the leader of her own gang, Sidewalk Théâtre.

Biography

She first appears at a comic convention. She and her gang attack people, Ant appears and fights Jessica and her gang, trying to get answers about Richards' whereabouts from them. Arachnid, a cannibalistic mutant, appears and helps Jessica to defeat Ant. But he was defeated by Savage Dragon and Jessica escapes in a helicopter.

In their second encounter, while Ant defeated Jessica's goons, the leader herself confronts the mighty hero and uses her new gadgets to kill her. When Ant strikes another punch, she wakes up as Hannah and what appears to be a hallucination. As a result, she attacked a Jessica Mime performer. However, it was later revealed that the encounters Hannah was indeed real and were wiped from Hannah's memory by Stephen Richards.

In Issue #11, Jessica is recruited as a member of a secret government team called Omega One. She is seen training with the other members.

Personality

She has a usual disregard for life and plans to take over the world. She is also the most blatantly insecure characters, which borders on psychosis. The only reason she kidnaps Stephen Richards is that everyone believes her team's a joke and her patience of people saying so grew slim. She's also what only could be described as a comic book version of an unreliable narrator. One minute she's a joke, the next she has the city in the palm of her hand. All that aside, she's a rather comical and professional villain.

Abilities

Jessica Mime is able to create Energy constructs. Whatever she "mimes" comes out in full force from her gloves. It's not stated whether it's a natural power or a gadget, however, it's usually implied to be natural power.
