Jet Jack

Jet Jack is a supporting antagonist in Season 9: Hunted of LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.

She is one of the many Dragon Hunters that were led by Iron Baron and was among Baron's most efficient (yet not best) hunters, using a jet pack during hunts.

Biography[]

Hunted[]

Firstbourne[]

Jet Jack appeared as one of the off-screen Hunters who captured Kai, Jay and Zane while they were trying to escape. After bringing them back to Iron Baron, she was among the Hunters who laughed after Iron Baron taunted them.

Iron & Stone[]

When Iron Baron asked the captured ninja if they were more of their kind (mistankely believing they were Oni). After Zane said that they were alone, Jet Jack stepped forward and showed diapers she found, asking, if the ninja were indeed alone, then who owned the diapers she held. After the ninja lied they were Jay's, most Hunters laughed, with Jet Jack showing the diapers to the public. She witnessed the ninja being taken to the Pit, but wasn't present when the ninja fought the Earth Dragon, Slab, and showed their Elemental powers.

Radio Free Ninjago[]

Jet Jack was seen fixing a part of the Dieselnaut when Iron Baron was bothering his Hunters, with him telling Jet Jack that she could fly by herself with her jetpack. She later was among the Hunters who joined Baron's organized hunt.

Around a campfire, Jet Jack explained to Cole and Wu (unaware of that they are disguised) who was Firstbourne, what was the Dragon Armor, and the relation of the two with Iron Baron. Just as she was about to tell what did the Oni looked like, they were interrupted by an approaching Wind Dragon. After it tried to escape, Iron Baron ordered to chase it. Jet Jack managed to catch up to it with her jetpack, with Iron Baron admitting she was "fast as the Wind." However, the Wind Dragon blew her away, with Jet Jack soon managed to fly again. The chase continued until Heavy Metal managed to bring it down, at which point she celebrated the capture alongside Iron Baron.

How to Build a Dragon[]

Jet Jack was among the Hunters who witnessed Iron Baron about to burn the Wind Dragon. When Iron Baron gave a speech to his Hunters, Jet Jack and the other Hunters spotted something in the sky and looked upward, with Jet Jack lifting her glasses to see it clearly. This stopped Baron in his speech as he turned to see what it was, only to see the fake Firstbourne flying piloted by Wu, yet they believed it was Firstbourne. However, the real Firstbourne came and attacked Dead's End after Baron shot down the fake Firstbourne.

Jet Jack later appeared among the Hunters who accompanied Iron Baron when he showed the head of the fake Firstbourne to the ninja, revealing he discovered the machine. Baron then ordered to capture the ninja so they would be used as baits for Firstbourne, only for the freed Wind Dragon to blow him, Jet Jack, and the other Hunters away with its Wind Breath. Later, Iron Baron told Jet Jack and Daddy No Legs to prepare the Dieselnaut since they're going to hunt the ninja.

Two Lies, One Truth[]

Jet Jack was among the Hunters who joined Iron Baron in his hunt for the ninja and discovered Daddy No Legs and Muzzle (who were sent before them) tied in the desert. After Iron Baron learned from them that Heavy Metal (actually a female Hunter named Faith) sided with the ninja, he enraged. Jet Jack proposed to catch them with her own group of Hunters, but Baron ignored her out of rage. Chew Toy search for a smell and, thanks to a blanket Baron lifted, managed to know the direction the ninja went (with six hours ahead of the Hunters). Iron Baron then ordered Jet Jack to hunt them. As the Hunters in her group readied their speeders, Jet Jack adviced that she's the only one who will lay hands on Heavy Metal.

Jet Jack and her Hunters group eventually found the ninja and Faith and gave them chase as soon as the latter jumped on their speeders. During the chase, Chew Toy accidentally shot Jet Jack's jetpack, but she soon re-joined the chase. The chase (after an Ice Dragon briefly joined it) followed into a canyon, with most of Jet Jack's speeders already brought down. Jet Jack flew to Faith's speeder and landed, but Wu managed to activate her jetpack by surprise, causing her to fly away. However, it is revealed that Jet Jack placed a tracking beacon on Faith's speeder.

The Weakest Link[]

Jet Jack was on the vehicle in the lead of Iron Baron's Hunters, following the ninja through the tracking beacon. When she spotted the line that divided Oni land from the rest of the first realm, she waved at the vehicles to stop. When Iron Baron asked for the reason, Jet Jack told him that the ninja have crossed into Oni territory, yet she is ready to fight every Oni the Hunters meet should Baron order to cross the line. As she hoped, Iron Baron ordered to cross the line.

As soon as the Hunters found the ninja, they gave chase to them. As the chase entered in a cave, Jet Jack flew toward Faith and taunted her before she quickly discovered that the Heavy Metal she though was in fact a female Hunter. After she was sent by Faith into a rock, she flew back to the Dieselnaut, where she complained to Iron Baron about the fact that he allowed another female Hunter (Faith) rather than her. Annoyed, Iron Baron proposed that however captures Faith could be his Number Two, causing Jet Jack to fly and chase the ninja, full of joy about finally trying to seize the opportunity of being Baron's Number Two.

After the chase followed out of the cave, the ninja boarded the Dieselnaut and attempted to take it, but Jet Jack managed to grab Faith with her Chain Rifle as the latter was trying to unplug chains that were slowing down the Dieselnaut. However, Faith managed to unstick a screw that separated the Dieselnaut in two halves. Jet Jack, despite having captured Faith, could only watch in surprise as the ninja escaped with the front half while the rear half was stopping itself.

Saving Faith[]

After the ninja were captured through a trap by using Faith as bait, Jet Jack was among the many Hunters who celebrated the capture. She witnessed when Faith attempted to expose Iron Baron's lies. After Wu broke free from the chains, Jet Jack was among the Hunters who tried to attack him until Baron stopped his staff and made an offer which consisted on him freeing the ninja if Wu leads him to the Dragon Armor. As they departed, Jet Jack intervened and reminded that, since she captured Faith, she was the new Number Two and insisted to accompany for protection. Iron Baron laughed at that and told her that once he gets the Dragon Armor, he won't need protection but his Hunters will be needing him. After that he pushed Jet Jack away before properly going to the Dragon Nest with Wu, showing that he didn't care at all for his Hunters all this time.

Lessons for a Master[]

After Iron Baron and Wu departed to Firstbourne's nest, the Hunters went on arguing whether to trust the ninja or not. One side was with Jet Jack and Muzzle led the other. Jet Jack tried to argue while reminding he was Baron's Number Two, thus she was in charge when their leader wasn't around. However, Muzzle argued back (despite his gibberish) much to her annoyance. Daddy No Legs defended Muzzle, saying that the latter was saying what the Hunters in his side are thinking, with an annoyed Jet Jack supposing that Daddy No Legs thinks he should be in charge.

When the ninja tried to free themselves, Jet Jack caught them in the act and asked what they were doing, with Jay trying to lie that they were doing nothing. Jet Jack then raised her weapon, causing Jay to panic due to his belief that he, the ninja and Faith are going to be eaten by the Hunters. Jet Jack, however, breaks their chain and sets them free, revealing that, in their argument, they decided to side with the ninja since Iron Baron revealed his true nature and feared the worst should the evil Hunter leader wear the Dragon Armor. They decided to go and stop Baron, but realized it was too late since a bridge the leader and Wu once crossed already collapsed.

When Firstbourne emerged from the mountain crater of her nest, the Dragon Hunters panicked and tried to flee for their lives, but soon spotted Wu wearing the Dragon Armor and riding the mother of all Dragons, surprising Jet Jack when she saw he was riding without chains. After Wu revealed that Iron Baron's days were over, Jet Jack and the other Hunters cheered. They then made Faith their new leader with Jet Jack being the second-in-command, decided to became a new people now that Baron is no longer here to abuse and control them. Jet Jack witnessed the ninja when they return to Ninjago with the Firstbourne and other Dragons.

March of the Oni[]

Endings[]

Jet Jack appeared in Faith's flashback when the latter told about the Oni's return to the Realm of Oni and Dragons. After the Omega arrived and started spreading the darkness, Jet Jack and the other Hunters rode Dragons to fight back, with Jet Jack riding an Ice Dragon. Their efforts were pointless as they froze, engulfed by the darkness.

Personality[]

Jet Jack is initially loyal to Iron Baron, often ready to fight even a thousand Oni for the safety of her leader, and making suggestions to him whenever she can and wait for his answer. However, this loyalty was shed once Iron Baron revealed his true colors. She also had a dislike for Heavy Metal during the time she didn't know she was a woman named Faith, as shown when she taunted by saying "Always knew you were a defector!" After learning Heavy Metal was a woman named Faith, she immediately complained to Baron for what she thought was an unfairness and favoritism.

After Baron revealed his true colors, Jet Jack became a better person, allowing Faith to be the Hunters' new leader and joining the Hunters who fought against the Oni when they arrived in the First Realm.

Trivia[]

The moment where Jet Jack lifts her sunglasses-like cover to see the fake Firstbourne in "How to Build a Dragon" is the only instance were Jet Jack's eyes are clearly seen, which are red like the other Hunters.
Her name is a play on the word "jetpack". Fitting, since she uses a jet pack to hunt.
She has similarities with Miss Demeanor, since both of them have a mohawk and work for a more evil boss (Iron Baron, in the case of Jet Jack).
