Jill is an antagonist in the 2001 comedy movie Tomcats.
She was portrayed by Heather Stephens.
Biography[]
Jill is a shy librarian by day and a lifestyle dominatrix (a pro bono dominatrix, for which dominatrix play is a defining personality trait, unlike professionally paid dominatrices who only perform so far as their clients pay them, life dommes never tire of it, hence the name.) by night. She lives in a house with a picket fence with her grandmother, a retired librarian who is also a lifestyle dominatrix. Her BDSM dungeon is disguised as a little girl's bedroom filled with toys and stuffed animals. Jill makes her first appearance in the movie, where Michael Delaney, the film's protagonist, has been told by Natalie that she's planning to marry Kyle Brenner and decides to move on from Natalie by seducing the first woman that he meets. Unfortunately, the first woman turns out to be overweight and unattractive.
Michael then sets his sights on Jill, a seemingly shy librarian. He takes a copy of The Scarlet Letter from a cart of overdue books and gives it to her, pretending to be returning it. Later, Jill and Michael walk home from their date at a sushi restaurant, and they stop by Jill's house. Jill invites Michael inside, and while Michael initially declines, he changes his mind. Michael meets Jill's grandmother.
Michael and Jill then go upstairs to her bedroom to make love. Michael picks Jill up and takes her to her bed. Jill then turns the tables on Michael by handcuffing him to the bed, then presses a button that automatically seals all the windows in the room.With him immobilized, she then reveals her true colors as a mentally unhinged dominatrix, first removing her pink nightie to reveal a purple leather lingerie under it, then going to her toy chest and pulling out a pair of purple latex boots which she then puts on while Michael, now seeing that he is unable to uncuff himself, tries to explain to Jill that all those things he said were just a way for him to sleep with her. Jill seems to be upset to hear that and decides to do something about it.
Jill then presses another button that reveals a hidden pulley, which she turns, lifting Michael up into the air. Michael then attempts to make excuses for her to let him go, but she then goes back to the bed, pushes it aside, and pulls back the curtains to reveal BDSM equipment, scaring Michael who realizes what he has gotten himself into. Michael continues to beg her to let him go, which she not only refuses to do but also places a ball gag in his mouth to prevent him from talking, and follows up by ripping off his boxers to reveal his naked lower half. Jill then explains that Michael is one of those guys who don't handle books with care and as she continues with her rant, Jill brags to Michael in an erotic voice that she knows about boys who don't respect library books. She goes through her BDSM equipment to find a perfect tool for Michael and chooses a large paddle with the letter "A" on it before telling Michael that he will receive a spanking each time that his library book is overdue. After painfully spanking Michael (who is crying, with the gag still in his mouth), Jill, unsatisfied, states that something is missing.
Her grandmother then suddenly walks into the room wearing leather clothes and cracking a whip, much to Michael's fright as he starts to panic struggling desperately to release himself from the handcuffs. Michael is seen running out of the house in terror as he tells himself that from now on, he will stay away from redheads, and moments later he screams in terror after the gate smacks his butt, which reminds him of the ordeal he suffered just a while back. Later we see that Michael still has the Giant "A" he got from Jill on his right butt cheek. Later, after Michael learns that Kyle Brenner broke up with Natalie, Kyle reveals that he has a date tonight with a woman he described as "a little redhead librarian", and Michael realizes that it's Jill that Kyle is talking about. Jill makes her second appearance at the end of the movie, where Kyle is in her dungeon but, unlike Michael, is happy to indulge in his BDSM session with Jill and her grandmother. As Kyle continues to ask Jill for more, she realizes that something's missing, just as her grandmother appears from the wall of BDSM equipment (wearing what seems to be a strap-on) and after injecting it in Kyle, who screams at first only for him to instead enjoy it. Trivia[]
- The concept of Jill tricking Micheal into her's and her Grandmother's home, only to subject him to torture is a reverse version of the classic Charles Perrault's fairytale of Little Red Ridding Hood, where in the original story the Wolf captured and ate the Grandmother and dressed like her to capture Red Ridding Hood. In the reverse verison both Jill and her Grandmother lure men into their home and revealed themselves as dominatrix as they began to torture them. In factm when Kyle was subjected he refer Jill as "The Big Bad Dominatrix", a reference to The Big Bad Wolf.
