Jimmy el Cachondo (also known as Jimmy the Joker) is the main antagonist of the 2014 Spanish animated film Mortadelo & Filemon: Mission Implausible.
He was voiced by Gabriel Chame Buendia in the Spanish dubbed version.
Biography[]
Past[]
Not much is known about Jimmy's past or why he's so crazy, but it's likely that he went crazy because he tried out as a comedian but was turned down because he wasn't really funny.
Current life
Jimmy first appears in his helicopter,waiting for his henchmen mari and trini to finish cutting the suport column of the T.I.A building,then he sends an email to superintendent vicente saying that T.I.A will bow down to him.
after the building is torn down,jimmy manages to steal the safe that contained an envelope with something secret inside.
during the journey home,mari asks why people think jimmy isn't funny and this makes him very mad,but mari intervenes saying that his brother was just joking and that he didn't mean to offend his own boss.
in his hideout,jimmy tries to open the safe using various tools and weapons,but nothing seems to have any effect,while watching a tv show,jimmy discovers that his long lost cousin trounchmulas has escaped from jail and this makes him very happy.
but jimmy's joy is short lived,because when trounchmulas start saying that he is working with the T.I.A,this ended up enraging jimmy,as he thinks he's own cousin would hand him over to the police.
later that day jimmy alongside with his henchmen mari and trini go to the mortadelo and philemon's house to try to kill trounchmulas as a way getting revenge for a alleged betrayal.
after numerous faileds attempts to kill his cousin to kill his cousin trouchmulas,jimmy and his goons return to the hideout to prepare for the next attack on T.I.A headquarters,until he receives an unexpected and unwanted visit from his cousin trounchmulas and his supposed adotive father.
trouchmulas explains to jimmy that he didn't betray him,but that he was drugged by T.I.A agents mortadelo and philemon and then upon seeing the safe that his cousin had stolen from the super,he manages to open it without difficulty.
Personality[]
Jimmy has sadistic and psychopathic personality who takes pleasure in causing the other's misfortune and has a lot of fun seeing people suffer,throughtout the plot jimmy has a strange habit of saying a sentence and then repeating it in another way.
Appearence[]
Jimmy is a thin man with a long nose and red hair combed to both sides, he wears a red woolen sweater, blue jeans, brown boots and dark blue fingerless gloves,At some points in the film he appears wearing an airplane pilot's hat.
His left eye is crooked, which indicates that he may suffer from a disease called amblyopia (also known as lazy eye) which causes his eye to almost always droop, looking down and the iris wobbles according to his movements. However, in some moments of the film it is shown that he can control this eye, usually this happens when he is trying to look carefully at something.
