Biography[]
Past[]
Jin Matoba was born to a father that made him go through extensive training to become a ninja master. This training broke him but he managed to pull through and continue with his life until one day his father let him fall of a cliff. This drove him to insanity as he had to have a metal arm plus many mental scars. As a result, he started killing masters who practice Kenpo since it was what built his life.
Dairanger[]
Jin Matoba is first seen killing a master whilst disguised as a janitor and tries to catch up to another group. Ryo sees this and tries to stop him but he beats Ryo and leaves. He meets his sister and she begs him to stop but he doesn't listen and continues. He later grows an obsession over Ryo and fights him numerous times until Ryo learns the Kenpo he uses and defeats him. Major Zydos then gives him the Demon Fist Power which he accepts by killing his sister who he has loved for so long. After that, he becomes a Demon Fist Master and betrays Zydos to continue his killing spree.
Jin and Ryo meet again as he infects him with a deadly attack that starts to slowly kill him. They fight again after Ryo overcomes it and after saving Ryo from a blast orchestrated by Zydos. They then meet him again when he is turning into a boney monster called Garouki. Jin can't control himself and goes hunting for human flesh and acts like a wolf though he is human in the mornings where he grows on Ryo. The Dairangers fight him later in this state until they free him only for Jin Matoba to and die trying to fight Zydos as the Cotroppts gun him down.
Jin Matoba later appears as a ghost to emotionally aid Ryo during the final battle against Zydos. 50 years later, the first battle against Jin is remembered by Ryo as he watches his grandson fight the New Gorma Monster at the beginning of the next war with the Gorma.
