Jin Noo, also known as The Blade, is a minor antagonist of HITMAN II (2018). He is the main antagonist in "The Pen and the Sword", a Sniper Assassin mission.
He is a Heavenly Guard colonel in Khandanyang and the leader of its 7th Special Forces Group, being the orchastrater behind the kidnapping of Khandanyang fugitives, Han Ldong and his wife Ma Ldong, and was on a mission to ship back to their capital for execution alongside his subordinates Lhom Kwai and Re Thak, but all of them and their team were eliminated by Agent 47.
Biography[]
Being the son of Sun Po's personal bodyguard, Jin Noo was groomed for a similar position from a young age. However, his natural talents were quickly discovered to lie elsewhere and he was trained as an up-close assassin instead. Becoming a lead officer of the Heavenly Guard, the elite group of Sun Po, Jin Noo soon became infamous for his born sadism as well as his skill as a special melee fighter, earning him the nickname of the Blade.
In his past, Jin Noo was most notable for successfully bashing a conspiracy of rebellion in sounthern Khandanyang raised by a treacherous general. He gathered a group of trainees and slaughtered most of the rebels, before capturing the said general and sent him for public execution under the command of Crown Prince Tren Po.
Because of this, Jin Noo graduated with honors from the academy and was allowed to head up a special branch of the 7th Special Forces Group, which exists to this day.
Personality[]
Jin Noo is a fanatic worshipper of Sun Po and his ideas, as well as a born sadist. He would carry on Sun Po's mission with any cost, and would be the one charged to execute his hostages prematurely should any alarm be raised by a hostile presnece like Agent 47.
Nevertheless, he does (possibly) have a soft spot towards his right-hand woman, Re Thak, by seeing her potential and training her to be a skilled agent like himself, despite Re Thak's parents being executed for suspected treason. Whether he was out of true feeling or being pragmatic was undisclosed.
Trivia[]
- If Jin Noo was still alive when Agent 47 (potentially) raised the alarm, he would rush towards the hostages and kill them, causing 47's mission to fail immediately.
- As such, Jin Noo is the only target in Sniper Assassin to be able to retaliate and cause the failure of the mission, by killing the hostages if he was alerted. It made him arguably and potentially the most dangerous main target in any Sniper Assassin missions. As such, Jin Noo should be eliminated before any other remaining targets on the run.
- He is also one of the few targets appearing in World of Assassination that can potentially retaliate, alongside Patrick Morgan and Sierra Knox (under only one certain circunstance). Unlike these two, however, Jin Noo retaliated not by attacking 47, but by killing the people he tried to rescue.
