Biography[]
Origins[]
1,000 years ago, Jindiao had the physical form of a dragon and was the original dragon master. Corrupted by his own power, he sought to attain godhood by binding with the Wellspring, a great source of chi. This would allow him to dominate over all. However, the original Four Constellations, who were originally his students, used their chi to stop him. This meant that they sacrificed their mortal existence, but they separated Jindiao’s physical body from his soul.
Left without a body, Jindiao sought out a new one to hijack. He eventually found and possessed the body of a vulture named Chong. Since then, Jindiao used the disguise of the Grand Abbot of a temple of monks, biding his time while he drained the chi of others to sustain himself for over a millennium.
Present[]
When Jindiao found out about four pandas who received the Hero Chi of the Four Constellations, he once again to find the Wellspring. He sent Jade Tusk and other day of her kind to capture them. However, Po saved them, and the five of them fought them off.
In his temple, Jindiao talks about how the first dragon warrior could feed on dew from ginkgo leaves and chi given by the universe itself. After which he notices Jade Tusk and scolds her for daring to appear in the monastery. At this moment, Huifang her began to speak and this began to get on Jindiao’s nerves. Afterwards, Jindiao pays a visit to Pious Chan and after a short conversation, takes his chi.
At one point, he sends a demon to find a scroll. However, using the Red Phoenix’s power, they were able to dispatch the demon.
Jindiao later attempts to defeat Po for good by visiting the Panda Village and holding an exhibition match. He holds a battle of minds while secluded in a hut. After a little while, he almost gets Po, but is then outmatched, and knocked unconscious. However, Po wakes up and gets, and one of the Four is able to revive his Chi, not knowing of his evil.
As the Four Constellations begin to suspect evil in Po, they soon learn that it's Jindiao who is the real threat. Jindiao bonds it has on of the kids, who has the Blue Dragon Constellation’s Chi. He takes Po's Hero Chi, and gets rid of him.
Without a master, the Four Constellations have to fulfill this role for themselves while Jindiao isn’t hot on their trail. They warn the village of Jindiao, but all the other Pandas disbelieve them. Jindiao later attacks Thebes village, resulting in the Pandas falling into a deep slumber, which they later awaken from.
The Four Constellations keep him at bay as best they can, but he still seemed to pursue them with ease. Jindiao holds a battle of minds with the kid who has the White Tiger’s Chi. However, he is stopped. Po, who didn’t survive, later finds the kids again with the help of an old rabbit.
Jindiao later ambushes them, drains the rabbit’s Chi, and breaks the pot she used to seal him. He made them show him where the Wellspring was. When he got there, however, he was then taken by surprise when the four kids and Po reveal that the one Jindiao smashed was a decoy. They attempted to trap Jindiao once and for all, which cost the kids their mortal existence. However, it was actually the vulture who was trapped, and Jindiao emerged in full dragon form.
Jindiao laid waste to the Panda village. However, Po grabbed hold of him, and used the Wu Shi finger hold on himself, taking Jindiao to the spirit realm. However, he wouldn’t stay there for long. Luckily, the original Four Constellations granted the kids their Chi, so that they could pursue Jindiao, and Po was given a dragon form to fight. Jindiao made it out of the spirit realm, and the five heroes scraped to escape.

“ | Jindiao: Where are they now? Henchwoman: In Panda Village. Jindiao: Jade Tusk... remove this one from my sight. Permanently. Henchwoman: No. No, no, Master, please! No! Jade Tusk: Please allow me to correct her grievous mistake. Surely the children must know how to get back into the Temple. Jindiao: Then perhaps you should ask them yourself. And do ask nicely. |

“ | Oh, you're stronger than the others, Angry One. Different. When we first met, you were but a cranky little brat. Your Hero Chi has grown immensely. I thought I wanted it all for myself, but I was wrong. Join me, child. Don't let these fools hold you back. There is so much more to the world than what Master Po has taught you. With my help, you could be one of the most powerful Kung Fu masters the world has ever seen. You need only to depend on yourself. | „ |

“ | Now, before I'm forced to hurt anyone else, perhaps a moment of reflection. Hmm? I'll go first. I think we've all gotten off on the wrong foot. My friends, I am here, not as an oppressor, but as an ally. I wish to return you pandas to your rightful place, as the Guardians of the Wellspring. To rule by my side. To live like royalty in your ancestral homeland. Untold riches. Security. And all the food you could ever eat. No longer hiding. Or living in fear. You will reign over the land as masters of your own destiny. Imagine it. Heaven and Earth merging to become one. It can happen. All that can be yours, once we've dealt with one teensy little detail. All you must do to have everything you've ever wanted is turn the four panda children over to me. These children have always been troublemakers and outsiders. They've never truly been a part of this village. Surely, sacrificing the children is a small price to pay to make all your dreams come true. | „ |

Trivia[]
- Jindiao means Golden eagle in Chinese.
- He is very similar to Ke-Pa: both are purely evil, yet fully intelligent and arrogant dragons, both tried to conquer the world and kill all the mortals, 1000 years ago they both had their true forms and powers, only to get trapped in other bodies after being defeated, and they both say to Po that they are the true Dragon Warrior. So due to this, it's possible that Jindiao may even had a connection to Ke-Pa.
