History[]
Early life[]
Jod Na Nawood was a Force-sensitive from an unknown world that was war-torn and ashy. When he was young, his only concern was not to starve. Living on the streets, Jod encountered a female Jedi who briefly trained him in the ways of the Force. While training to be a Jedi, his master was slain by Jedi hunters before his very eyes, traumatizing and disillusioning him.
He turned to piracy, with a vast number of aliases and a silver tongue that he used to talk his way out of many situations. He earned a reputation as a traitor and liar.
During one mission, he betrayed his partner Pokkit, stealing the bounty and leaving her trapped in a pit of leeches. Pokkit escaped and sought vengeance, trying to hunt him down but no one had ever heard of a "Dash Zentin."
New Republic Era[]
After the fall of the Galactic Empire, Nawood under the alias Silvo, became the captain of a murderous pirate crew. Together they attacked a New Republic cargo freighter. Using the much larger pirate frigate Captained by Silvo, he and his crew intercepted the fleeing freighter while the two ships exchanged turbolaser fire. After being disabled, the freighter came to a slow speed, with debris flying around the New Republic vessel in space.
The pirate vessel then maneuvered itself to be parallel with the freighter, continuing to lay down fire. Silvo's pirates deployed boarding bridges that breached the hull of the Bulk Freighter and allowed the pirates to board as the merchants took up defensive positions.
After the assault team had overpowered the freighter's personnel, Brutus entered the ship via a docking tube and informs Captain Silvo that the ship was secure. Silvo is please and boarded the starship with his crew and proceeds towards the vault. Silvo ordered the freighter's captain to open the ship's vault, but the freighter captain insisted they have no credit shipment.
When Silvo asked why the vault would be magnetically sealed if there were no credits, the merchant captain angrily replies that this ship is under the protection of the New Republic and demanded that all "pirate scum" leave immediately. After punching out the defiant merchant captain, Silvo ordered his crew to throw the captain out of the airlock.
While electronic lasers cut through the vault door, Silvo promises that he will deliver hard, cold credits to his crew. However, they were disappointed to discover an empty vault. Brutus entered the vault and finds a single credit. He condemned the captain for risking the lives of the pirates for a single measly credit. The pirates staged a mutiny and subdue Silvo while Brutus watches with a grin. Silvo desperately fought back and tried to explain himself to no avail.
