Biography[]
Early life[]
Jodi was a former explosive ordnance specialist in the U.S. Army. During her time in the service, she met and fell in love with Wes Keenan who was also in the military as both were Green Berets and they later married. During combat, Wes supposedly died in a helicopter crash, but Jodi refused to believe it. She had later been discharged for unruly behavior and began to look for Wes.
Season Six[]
Jodi later discovered LuthorCorp documents containing files about her husband, leading her to believe that Wes was still alive and being held captive by LuthorCorp. In a series of underground tunnels underneath Smallville, Jodi confronted Lex and Lionel Luthor underneath Reeves Dam. Lex asked who she was because she was trespassing and she took off her mask to speak.
She said she only wanted Lex and set off a small explosion that blocked the tunnel, throwing Lionel several feet and covered him with debris, injuring him. She knocked Lex out and dragged him away deeper into the tunnels.
Lex regained consciousness and the woman introduced herself as Jodi Keenan. Claiming Lex kidnapped her missing husband, Jodi threatened to blow up an underground maze with Lex inside unless he told her where her husband was.
She had planted multiple charges throughout the tunnels and set them to go off within a matter of minutes. She told Lex that unless he let her talk to Wes, she will blow up the entire cave system up in 20 minutes. Jodi started a timer demanding that Lex call Wes. Lex finally admitted that Wes was dead; he had multiple injuries from which LuthorCorp tried to save him, but failed.
For a moment, Jodi lowered the gun she had on Lex, unnerved. Lex then wrestled the gun away from her and it went off, injuring Jodi's leg. Lex told her they could still get out of the cave alive, but she stated that the bomb was pre-programmed on a timer and it couldn't be stopped. Before she succumbs to her injuries, she set off another smaller explosion inside the chamber, enough to kill herself and left Lex trapped with no hope of escaping the debris until Clark Kent eventually arrived and rescued him.
