Jodo Kast Is a minor character that appears In some of the Star Wars: Insider Magazine comics and The main antagonist In the 1996 one-shot comic Star Wars: Twin Engines Of Destruction.
He Is a young man that decides to use the Identity of Boba Fett after he was apparently eaten by the sarlaac, Thanks to that, He was mistaken for Boba Fett, Which make him earn more money and fame.
Biography[]
Jodo Kast was born In Mandalore at the year of 34 ABY In Miserable conditions, This due to being poor, Which make Jodo have a bad childhood and he quickly got the ambitious dream of becoming rich, so that he can experience the life of a Millionaire and Famous person.
When he was at his Teenage Years, Jodo got contacted by some rebels, Who asked him to join the specops alliance, Something that Jodo took advantage and decided to leave his home and start his rebel career.
Rebel[]
When he Joined, Jodo was given the important role of an agent, Which he used to command multiple specops soldiers In battlefield, Day by Day, The alliance continue to grow and become stronger, But Jodo didn´t really care about that, Since the only thing he was really Interested was on gaining money for his occupation (Something he never got), Which make Jodo more frustrated, But something would change his mind forever.
In what appeared to be another normal mission, Jodo and other Specops agents were given the command of Invading a place full of mercenaries and capture or kill them. In the middle of the mission, Jodo found a mandalorian In silver beskar armor, Who was named Feskitt Bobb, But Jodo thought this was the legendary Boba Fett, So because of this, Feskitt and Kast got In a gun duel, Where Jodo end up being the winner, After killing the mandalorian with a quick shot, At the beginning, Jodo was proud of his victory, But he end up getting dissapointed when he found out that the man who he killed was not Boba Fett.
Becoming a Bounty Hunter[]
After some time, Jodo decided to leave the specops alliance and go with another line of work, And he decided to become a bounty hunter, At the beginning, Jodo managed to kill some of his targets, But he got very short ammounts of money, This will continue until Jodo heard that boba was eaten by the sarlaac pit, Something that Jodo would take advantage of by repainting his armor Into a colour that resembled the ones from Boba´s Armor, And claimed himself to be Boba Fett, Saying that he survived being eaten by the sarlaac, This quickly make Kast win more money and fame, Finally fulfilling his childhood dream.
Black Sun[]
Thanks to his success and Bounties, Jodo was requested to join the Black Sun organization, Where he was left as the right-hand man, During his time on the organization, Jodo started to Invade and destroy multiple enemy bases, Causing him to be wanted among other bounty hunters, But he managed to gain some friends that covered his back from being attacked by other mercenaries, But this would be short-lived, Since most of Jodo´s friends died at the hands of other teams or simply left the organization, And due to this, Jodo also decided to left the organization and went back to his rogue career.
The Return Of Boba Fett[]
What Jodo didn´t know, Is that Boba Fett was actually still alive, And he learned that someone was pretending to be him And got a lot of popularity due to this, This was revealed by dengar, Who saw Jodo In a armor almost Indentical to Boba´s, And he quickly knew he was an Usurper when he heard his voice.
Due to this, Boba set multiple traps to kill Jodo, But the young man managed to surpass the challenges and get out of the place, When he thought that all of this was over, Boba suddently appeared behind Jodo and pointed him with a Blaster Gun, After begging for Boba to not shoot him, Jodo In a quick move Activated his jetpack, Sending Boba Fett backwards and making him fall, After this, Both Boba and Jodo have a long fight, Where at the beginning, Jodo was actually dominating the fight and managed to gain the upper-hand, But after a false move, Boba shoot a paralyzing dart Into Jodo´s neck, Which Inmovilized him.
Death[]
After being left In the ground, Boba quickly start to beat Jodo, Unmasking him and also destroying part of his armor, Later, Boba reveals to Jodo that he right now has planted a bomb In the place that will detonate In a few minutes, And If Jodo wanted to survive, He would have to choose between three poisons left on the floor, and only one of them could cure him from being paralyzed, But sadly for Jodo, The time run out, And he was blown by a giant explosion, And the only thing visible was his arm.
Personality[]
Jodo was always an Arrogant, Ruthless, Prideful, Manipulative and Charismatic Individual who was a strong believer that money and power were the only thing that really mattered In life, He Is also a little bit vengeful (This Is shown when he swears revenge on a group that destroyed and invaded the black sun quarters), Despite all of this, Jodo does appreciate his friends and partners (But this Is only If they are loyal to him or share his goals).
It is unknown if Jodo was the same back when he joined the rebel alliance, however, as soon as he stepped in the bounty-hunting world, his personality became a more complex and manipulative one, even going as far as to make other people kill or fight each other for problems he caused.

Jodo has an armor very similar to Boba Fett, Except that his visor Is orange (While fett´s visor Is red), Behind the armor, Jodo has the aspect of a young man, With blonde hair and blue eyes.

- Jodo Kast Is one of the three characters that tried to Impresonate Boba Fett (Alongside with Ailyn Vel and Spar)
- In some panels of the comic, Jodo´s visor changes colors multiple times (At the beginning the visor was orange, In part of the conversation between Boba and Jodo the visor Now turns red and At the end of the comic the visor now has yellow color)
- Jodo was originally created to be the actual successor of Boba Fett, But the fans didn´t like this, So they end up killing Jodo and bringing Boba Back.
