Joe ,,Crazy Joe" Gallo was a minor antagonist in The Irishman. Just like his real life counter part he was known for kidnapping his own bosses.
He was portrayed by Sebastian Maniscalco, who also voiced Foreman Spike in The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
History[]
Gallo is portrayed as unpredictable and attentionseeking, often frequenting celebrity circles and making headlines- behavior that contrasts sharply with the Mafia's preference for discretion and order. His growing notority and refusal to play by traditional Mafia rules put him at odds with established leadership.
Frank Sheeran is eventually tasked with eliminating Gallo after the tensions escalete. The hit takes place in Umberto's Clam House, a real life location tied to Gallo's historical assassination. The film portrayes Frank calmly walking into the restaurant and shooting Joe in front of his family.
