Joseph "Joe" Keller is a major antagonist in Season 7 of the TV Series, The Mentalist. He is a serial killer, who kills people to contact wtih the soul of his deceased father. He is played by Aubrey Deeker.
Biography[]
A couple in love are talking about moving when a stranger appears and kills them both. The police get involved. Patrick Jane, who is grieving over the death of Michelle Vega, also gets involved. A psychic named Gabriel Osborne also gets involved. Patrick, who is convinced that psychics do not exist, suspects that Gabriel knows more than he is saying. Osborne claims that he saw the killer, but does not remember what he looked like. Soon Gabriel predicts where the bodies of the killer's victims will be found, and his prediction is confirmed. And soon he predicts that the maniac will kill more today. And the maniac kills Gabriel himself and his sister. Soon the maniac kills another woman. People are scared, they shoot at homeless people, suspecting that one of them is a maniac. Patrick's friend Agent Tork advises Patrick to pretend to be a psychic, as he once did. Patrick unwittingly agrees. However, everything does not go according to plan. On the way home, Patrick and Tork are hit by a car. Tork is injured, and Patrick is kidnapped by a maniac. He tries to ask Patrick about his father's soul, but Patrick can't help. At this moment, the maniac is called to work. Patrick inspects the premises and finds out that the maniac's name is Joe Keller and that he and his father liked to fish. When Joe appears, Patrick gives the results of his observations of communication with the soul of Joe's father and buys an hour of time. He arranges a gas leak. Teresa Lisbon saves him. However, the maniac's body is never found. Meanwhile, Joe, who is quite alive, kidnaps and kills the host of the program from which he learned about Patrick. On behalf of this host, he calls Tork and finds out where and when Patrick is getting married. Then he comes there, but the police are already waiting for him. Joe is arrested.
