Joey Leone is a major character in Grand Theft Auto III.
He is the son of mob boss Salvatore Leone, and owns a car workshop called Joey's Auto Painting. Throughout the game, he gives Claude various jobs due to the recommendation of his friend Luigi Goterelli.
He was voiced by Michael Rapaport, who also plays Troy Bradshaw in the Saints Row series and Frank Stump in My Name is Earl.
Biography[]
Drive Misty For Me[]
Claude goes to Luigi Goterelli's next job, where he is tasked with taking Joey Leone's girl "Misty" to his auto shop because he wants some action. Upon handing her over her, Joey tells Claude that she has several jobs for him and that she should stop by later due to her efficiency in working with Luigi Goterelli.
Mike Lips Last Lunch[]
Claude goes to the mechanical workshop and receives his first order where he will have to kill Mike Forelli because the Forelli brothers owe Joey too much money and refuse to pay it, so to do the order, Claude will have to get to Saint Mark's Bistro restaurant quickly, steal Mike's car, go bomb him at 8 Ball, drop him back at the diner, and enjoy the blast. After finishing the quest Claude will receive 10000 reward.
Farewell "Chunky" Lee Chong[]
Claude goes again to Joey's mechanical workshop to receive his next job in which he will have to kill Lee Chong since he is causing problems for the Colombian gang, for this Claude goes for the gun that Joey left him in the Ammu-Nation, goes to Chong's noodle stall and kills him. Receiving a total reward of 10,000 dollars.
Van Heist[]
Joey is repairing a BF Injection, when he enters the workshop Claude who gives him the job of stealing a Securicar van and take it to the docks, Claude receives a 20,000 reward when he completes the order.
Cipriani's Chauffeur[]
Joey is talking to Toni Cipriani about Misty when Claude arrives. Joey introduces Claude to him, and has Claude drive him to his mother's restaurant in Saint Marks. Claude and Toni get into the car but before they get to the restaurant he asks Claude to go to a laundry. When Toni arrives he tries to claim the protection money in chinatown but a furious Triad member attempts to kill him. Toni escapes with Claude's help. On arrival, Toni swears revenge and promises to employ Claude.
Dead Stunk in the trunk[]
Joey is again fixing the BF Injection and upon arrival Claude gives him his new job where he will have to pick up a car with a body in the trunk at a nearby cafe, then destroy it in the Harwood crusher. Claude evades the Forelli ambush and destroys the vehicle.

The Getaway[]
Joey is fixing the BF Injection, until Claude arrives and orders him to collect his men, take them to the bank, wait for them to come out and escape from the police, when Claude succeeds he receives a reward of 30,000 from Joey Leone.
Salvatore's Called a Meeting[]
Joey is taken by Claude to the meeting that Salvatore is doing, but in the middle of the way the triads ambush them, Claude evades them and reaches the mansion. Joey greets his father and she tells him that if he already has a wife since that would make his mother happy, he denies it and continues to the Leone mansion, while his father talks with Claude.
Cutting the Grass[]
Curly Bob mentions Joey Leone to Catalina and Miguel as a guy who has problems with the Forelli.
