At the club, Joey started harassing Richie which caused the two of them to engage in a physical fight with Gina witnessing. However, Richie was taken out of the club by Wheatley and Izak Bekher while Wheatley apologised to Joey for Richie's behaviour. After the fight between Joey and Richie, Gina ends her relationship with Joey who doesn't take the news very well. A few days later, Joey's team forged an alliance with Wheatley's team and the two gangs worked together to commit crimes.
After Stepan Komarov is arrested by Detectives Elliot Stabler and Ayanna Bell, Joey tells Wheatley about Gianluca Silvano, a Russian mobster who was arrested several times. Joey tells Wheatley that Silvano wants to make a deal with them. Unknown to Joey and Wheatley, Silvano was working as an informant for Stabler and the rest of the team. Silvano's work helps Stabler and the squad arrest Wheatley for his crimes. As a result, Joey was also arrested for his involvement with Wheatley.
