John G is the main antagonist in the 2000 thriller movie Memento. He is the robber that raped and possibly murdered Leonard Shelby's wife.
Biography[]
John G was, according to Teddy, just a regular guy that chose to attack Leonard's wife. Upon breaking in, one of two things are possible. Either John G really did kill Leonard's wife after raping her, or the wife survived the attack. Regardless of which event actually happened, Leonard sought revenge for the incident.
With the help of the police officer Teddy, Leonard was able to track down and murder John G, although Leonard wouldn't remember it due to his condition.
