John Hansen is one of the main antagonists in the third season of the swedish drama series Vår tid är nu (english: The Restaurant). He is an ardent believer in communism and is also a manipulative leader of a small criminal league of said ideology. He was portrayed by Morten Vang Simonsen.

John is a very loud-speaking supporter of far-left ideologies, and justifies all his questionable actions of his believes and claim of society being corrupted. John also had a very keen mind for manipulation and charisma, as he manipulated several people who were previously rather innocent, including Christina, Nina's daughter, who eventually abandones her mother in favor of living with John and his communist friends.
