Little is known about John Henry's early life, but he used to specialize his robberies by breaking into retirement homes to steal from the elderly since they wouldn't be able to stop him. During one of his usual robberies however, he was caught be a resident who was startled so bad at the sight of John, he died of a heart attack.
He would spend six years in prison for assaulting an elderly woman after being caught once again, who was the mother of Ken Olson.
Dex, Lies, and Videotape[]
A few weeks after being released, Ken tried to get his revenge on John Henry by imitating The Bay Harbor Butcher's MO and tying John up inside of a train car with rope instead of plastic sheets.
However, John managed to escape and inform the MMPD of what happened, believing Ken was The Butcher.
