John Paul is a recurring villain in the web series Limmy's World of Glasgow, as well its TV successor Limmy's Show, acting as the titular protagonist in the stories/sketches John Paul.
He is a sadistic ned in his late teen years who spends his days annoying, pestering and tormenting people, occasionally even in brutal and torturous manners.
John Paul is a sadistic, rude, impulsive and easily amused man with little to no regard for anyone or anything around him. All he seems to enjoy doing is antagonizing and targeting victims usually at random but sometimes out of spite and revenge. He's also relatively patient when it comes to harassing his victims, such as with his wrath towards a woman who called him by accident and didn't apologise.
Surprisingly enough however he does have some people in his life that he gets along with such as his cousin Junior (although he did get angry at him for trying to stop him from harassing a man that told Junior to be quiet), and his friend Craig who he supposedly goes to hang out with often.
Appearance[]
While he is usually unseen since all of the sketches featuring him are shot in first person, and in the web series he is only heard since it's a podcast, he is shown at the start of every sketch in the show as being a man dressed in a black jacket and a gas mask, he's also seen wearing blue jeans and black trainers in some scenes.
He is depicted in Limmy's World of Glasgow as being a young man with slightly tanned skin, and blue eyes who wears an adidas cap and a white t-shirt.
In the pilot for Limmy's Show he looked vaguely similar to how he did in Limmy's world of Glasgow however he wore the jacket that would later be featured in the TV series instead, he also wore a black cap and a balaclava covering most of his face in this incarnation.

Trivia[]
John Paul appears to be far less malicious in the TV series than he was in the podcasts, Limmy explained the reasoning for this in the commentary of Episode 5 of season one were the Computer sketch was shown, as some of his more cruel acts in the original version such as forcing a man to walk on the railway tracks, threatening to kill an infant, as well as his numerous acts of battery including one against an old lady) wouldn't be allowed to be shown on the network. This also explains why John Paul stopped appearing after Season 1 of Limmy's Show.
John Paul is in many ways the foil of fellow Limmy villain Wee Gary as both are technically unseen as well as the only adolescent characters played by Limmy that appear in both the original podcasts and main show but both have several differences such as John Paul being a rude, impulsive and antisocial bully with brute strength whereas Wee Gary is a polite con artist who mainly uses logic to get what he wants while having no real physical strength but a charismatic persona which allows him to befriend and ally himself with people easily.
