John Quinn is a major antagonist in 24 "Redemption" and Season 7. He was a hired professional soldier from Starkwood who acted as an assassin in Washington, D.C..
He was portrayed by Sebastian Roché who also portrayed Arlo Beck in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Mikael Mikaelson in The Vampire Diaries, Balthazar in Supernatural, Thomas Newton in Fringe, Clarence "C-Square" Carmichael in the original Law & Order, August Cartwright in Batwoman, Pedro in Tintin and King Tygath in Earthsea.

John Quinn was born on the eighth of April 1968. He became an expert sniper and close-quarters fighter and was at some point hired by Starkwood. Sometime before Day 7, he disguised himself as a police officer to orchestrate a murder of a whistle-blower and making it seem like a suicide.
Redemption[]
Quinn and his partner Halcott infiltrated the apartment of Chris Whitley on orders from Edward Vossler. They were sendt there to retrive the evidence of Nichols' money laundering. They managed to retrive all of the evidence and also killed Whitley on orders from Jonas Hodges.
Day 7[]
Quinn was ordered by Greg Seaton to kill Ryan Burnett to prevent him from revealing Starkwood's role in supporting Benjamin Juma. Quinn snuck into the hospital and succesfully killed Burnett and planted evidence to frame Jack Bauer.
Quinn appeared again, this time pretending to be a police officer to get to Jack. Blaine Mayer then opened the door and was immediately shot by Quinn using a submachine gun. Quinn started chasing Bauer and the two ultimately got into a fight which ended when Bauer impaled Quinn with a screwdriver. Bauer told Quinn to tell him when the weapons were coming into the states and Quinn responded that they already were before succumbing to his wounds.
Trivia[]
- Quinn's last words were "They're already here" but in the next episode's Previously on 24 he is heard saying "You're too late. They're already here".
- Quinn somewhat redeemed himself by telling Bauer that the weapons had already arrived. He had nothing to gain by doing so.
