John Wayne Gacy, also known as The Killer Clown, is a minor antagonist in Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
He is a fictionalized version of the real-life serial killer who murdered 33 boys and young men, crimes for which he was executed on the same day that another serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer, was baptized in prison.
He was portrayed by Dominic Burgess.
Biography[]
Gacy is first seen in a flashback, inviting a young man to his home for a "job interview", and giving him a drugged drink. He takes his crucifix and uses it to tie up the man's hands and punches him in the face. When the man tries to escape, Gacy hits him with a frying pan and strangles and tortures him with his own belt; he then rapes and murders the man off-screen.
John Wayne Gacy lures more men and boys into his home to rape and murder them. Eventually, however, he is arrested and sentenced to death for his crimes.
By the end of the tenth episode, set several years later, Gacy is put to death by lethal injection. When asked if he has any last words, Gacy spitefully responds, "Kiss my ass!" The execution is then carried out as planned, with Gacy dying of a lethal injection; this occurs at the same moment that fellow serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer is baptized during a solar eclipse.
