Johnny Mo is a major antagonist of the 2003 film Kill Bill Vol. 1, the first installment of Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill film series.

He is a high-ranking subordinate of Yaukza queenpin O-Ren Ishii and the head of her personal army called the Crazy 88.

He was portrayed by Gordon Liu.

History

Johnny Mo is most prominently featured in the "House of Blue Leaves" scene, after O-Ren Ishii's enemy Beatrix Kiddo kills her personal bodyguard Gogo Yubari and six other henchmen. Johnny Mo, armed with a pair of shoto, arrives moments later with the Crazy 88 who have been sent by their leader to kill Beatrix. He is a more proficient fighter than the rest of the gang, nearly tipping the scales in their favor and holding his own against the Bride for several minutes alone while fighting her on top of a balcony railing. She eventually chops off both of his legs, and he falls into a pond from that second floor balcony and is presumed dead thereafter. It's very likely that he bled out, succumbing from his wounds.
