Johnny Rose is a a supporting antagonist of season four of the television series Dexter.
Johnny Rose first met Nikki Wald during his days in high school and began dating, soon going on a spree of shoplifting until the both of them were caught and Nikki testified against him in order to get a reduced sentence. Eventually, they were both released.
At some point in his life, Johnny Rose contracted Syphilis from an unknown woman while he was dating Nikki, with several other people.
In an attempt to rekindle their relation ship with each other, Johnny and Nikki hatched a plan to kill and rob people in order to buy their own boat and sail off to Bermuda together to avoid prosecution.
Living The Dream[]
During one of their usual robberies, they have a brief struggle with a married man and he's killed either intentionally or unintentionally. This event gave the the reputation as "The Vacation Murderers".
Remains To Be Seen[]
After robbing and then killing a man named Rad Faruche, Johnny accidentally stabs himself on a cactus while Nikki and him flee the crime scene. His blood is used by the MMPD to identify him.
Blinded by the Light[]
When Sergeant Angel Batista and Lieutenant Maria LaGuerta go to Nikki's home in order to question her, Johnny and Nikki both arrive just as they've finished grocery shopping and start firing at them until both Nikki and Johnny flee in their car.
Dirty Harry[]
Now suspects in the murder of Frank Lundy and the shooting of Debra Morgan, the attack actually being committed by Christine Hill who's the daughter of Arthur Mitchell, Batista tells Christine who happens to be a reporter about Johnny's STD and his infidelity, who publishes it in a news article in an attempt to drift them apart and hopefully make Nikki turn in Johnny once again.
However, after seeing the article and realizing Johnny's betrayal, Nikki then turns on Johnny and shoots him to death.
