Johnny Zoo is from Grand Theft Auto 2. He appears in the first level of the game.
Johnny Zoo was born on November 17, 1969 in Tokyo, Japan. At some point, he moved to Anywhere City in the US. Johnny has an extensive criminal record in his home country. The Anywhere City Police Department are unable to acquire it. Johnny was charged for multiple crimes in the past. He was bailed in exchange for $2 million. Zoo joined the Yakuza crime syndicate. He started out small but he eventually became the Yakuza's leader. Zoo dated Hana Fuabashi who is another member of the Yakuza.
Johnny Zoo employs Claude Speed in the downtown district of Anywhere City. He first hires Claude to destroy important members of the Zaibatsu corporation. Later, Zoo has Claude escort Doctor ZitZaki to the Yakuza's J-Lab where the organization creates drugs. Zoo then hires Claude to rob a bank, destroy gas tanks belong to a rival gang, deliver an important an important member to a hideout, murder three traitors, and steal a SWAT van.
Finally, Claude annihilates a tank and several army soldiers who are plotting to destroy Zoo's car. At the same time, Claude works for the Loonies and Zaibatsu. He helps them weaken the Yakuza. All three gangs discover Claude's treachery. Johnny Zoo along with the gangs' other bosses try to kill Claude. He manages to single handedly murder the three gang leaders.
