The Joker is a supporting antagonist in the Batman/Superman comic series. Existing in a pocket dimension of the Archive of Worlds created by the ancient diety Auteur.io, he is an alternate version of the original Joker who was a member of the Spider Lady's gang but was stopped by the Dynamic Duo and sent back to Arkham Asylum.
While imprisoned, he was mutated by Warden Luthor and made into his henchman as part of a conspiracy by his master Dr. Atom to perfect the World of Tomorrow and spare it from destruction by removing all criminal elements from it and dumping them in another pocket dimension.
Biography[]
In an artificial multiverse created by the ancient, but long-forgotten deity of tales Auteur.io, there are endless pocket dimensions that take on the form of films reels that are based on the exploits of superheroes and supervillains from Earth-0. One of these reels is a pocket dimension where Batman doesn't exist. In this dimension exists an alternate version of Earth-0 Joker, who is a member of the criminal gang of an alternate version of Lois Lane called Spider Lady.
The members of her gang consists of not only the Joker but also the Penguin and Jones. They managed to break out of Arkham Asylum but shortly after escaping, they were pursued by Batman and Robin, who thwarted their escape attempt. After their van crashed into a tree, the Joker and the Penguin tried to kill the Dynamic Duo with their firearms but were subdued. While they were arrested and sent back to Arkham, Spider Lady was the only one to escape and remain at large.
Locked away in the deepest parts of Arkham, Joker and the other villains were contemplating their fates, with the Joker grumbling over how being the re-incarcerated is no fun at all. Just then, they were mutated into hideous monsters by Warden Luthor, an alternate variant of Lex Luthor from another pocket dimension and a secret ally of Dr. Atom, as it is part of his master's plan to becoming a hideous humanoid monster an enlarged mouth and additional mouths on his hands, shoulders, and even one large mouth on his chest.
He, the Penguin and Jones, who have also been mutated, now served as Luthor's henchmen until their second encounter with Batman and Robin at the former Daily Planet building, which is now a casino. While having Jones accompanied him, Warden Luthor has Joker and Penguin hold the Dynamic Duo but were defeated by Robin. What became of them after that is unknown of they are reverted back to humans.
