Joklut Jawbreaker is a minor antagonist in Heroes of Might and Magic IV, The Price of Peace campaign. He was an orc warrior of the barbarian king Kilgor's army, later a bandit in Erathia, after the Reckoning a barbarian general and a cruel robber baron.
Biography[]
Joklut Jawbreaker was a orc warrior how served the cruel barbarian king Kilgor, but after the army defeated by Queen Catherine, he deserted. The orc warrior then, as a bandit, launched attacks on others. It was then that he showed that he had some talent in strategy. He attacked when the enemy was weak and lured them to the behemoths and the monsters easily defeated them. After the Reckoning, Joklut and two other warriors, Lord Lorne and Gurt become robber barons and kept the population of an area in constant terror. It was mostly Joklut and Gurt who looted, but the orc was notorious for treating prisoners very cruelly. Many refugees were met by a young girl, Emilia Nighthaven, and her dwarf general, Tharj. The orc wrote a threatening, rough letter to the girl, then she showed to his companion. The dwarf had already heard of Joklut and knew his strategy, to which he warned the girl. After defeating Gurt and heading north, they attacked by Joklut's army. The orc general tried the behemoth strategy here too, but Emilia and Thraj did not make the same mistake as others. With their ranged units and Emilia's magic power, they constantly weakened the enemy and eventually defeated the barbarian army. Emilia was exceptionally proud here for conquering Joklut's fortress and capturing the barbarian orc because she saved others from the death as well. Thraj suggested that he be hung immediately on the nearest tree, but Emilia wanted to stay fair, so she imprisoned the barbarian and wanted a trial. Joklut's fate is then unknown.
Personality[]
Based on the character descriptions, the best word for Joklut’s personality is brutal. He was a cruel, aggressive, devastating barbarian. He was only interested in the destruction, he spoke to anyone just threateningly and was cruel. He was notorious for cruelly torturing his prisoners.
Powers and Abillities[]
Joklut Jawbreaker was a strong, dangerous, infamous warrior. He was very strong, experienced in close combat and very resistant against the magical attacks. In addition, he was somewhat talented in strategy, but not much.
