~ Jordan attempting to call his father after killing Morgan.
Jordan Cross is a supporting antagonist in HITMAN, appearing as the main target of its fourth mission "Club 27". He is a rising rock star responsible for the murder of his girlfriend Hannah Highmoore.
Jordan was the only child of billionaire Thomas Cross. He was pampered throughout his childhood, getting everything he wanted apart from attention from his father. This lead to Jordan becoming resentful of his father and going out of his way to spite him.
Eventually, Cross set up a band called the Class, becoming an international sensation. It seemed as if he had finally struck big and escaped his neglectful father's shadow until the unfortunate death of Hannah Highmoore, his girlfriend. Desperate to avoid jail, Jordan reached out to his father, requesting his help. In response, his father had Ken Morgan, his lawyer, use corrupt and underhanded tactics to get Jordan acquitted and back into the public eye. Unfortunately for him, on his twenty-seventh birthday, the family of Hannah Highmoore requested that 47 assassinate him.
Personality[]
Jordan is, in many ways, a stereotypical millennial; self-entitled, self-absorbed, desperate to be part of a counterculture, and obnoxious. He seems to be a polarizing celebrity figure, with some respecting him as a talented musician and others hating him for being a "whiny jerk". Even though he is trying to be independent, he is reliant on others to solve his own problems, like turning back to his father to bail him out of jail (despite the fact that he resents his father). He also has serious anger issues and poor impulse control, both of which resulted in him killing his girlfriend (and Ken Morgan, if the player chooses to get Jordan to do so).
Trivia[]
In spite of his egotism and unhinged sense of self-entitlement, Jordan can be considered possibly the least evil target in the main story.
Jordan is at the age of twenty-seven when he is killed, a reference to the 27 Club, the phenomenon of musicians dying at the same age. With the game taking place in 2019, this would make Jordan's birthday some time in 1992.
Jordan is a vegan, as evidenced by how he wants his cake to be like.
