Joseph "Joe Tuna" DiLeo (1981 - 2008) is a minor antagonist in the 2008 video game Grand Theft Auto IV and a supporting antagonist in the 2009 DLC The Lost and Damned, He is a soldier in the Pegorino Crime Family who betrays the latter and steals their already stolen diamonds, along with his associates, Luca Silvestri and Johnny Barbosa.
He was voiced by Pete Pavio.
Personality[]
Not much is known about Joey's personality, other then that his has a bad temper. During his missions, he takes no nonsense from anybody and is extremely short-tempered. He is also implied to be racist as when Niko confronts him about the diamonds, he calls him a "cabbage-eating prick", which is an ethnic slur against Eastern-Europeans.
Biography[]
Joseph DiLeo was born in 1981 in Alderney City, Alderney. From 1998 to 2004, Joey committed various petty crimes such as grand theft auto, promoting gambling and armed robbery, with it being implied that at this point he already became a soldier in the Pegorino Family, along with being apart of Luca's Crew.
In 2008, Joey, along with his buddies, Luca Silvestri and Johnny Barbosa were ordered to pick up various Algonquin trashbags holding stolen diamonds by Pegorino Family underboss, Ray Boccino. On the job, Joey and the gang are accompanied alongside gun-for-hire, Niko Bellic and the four are also chased down by some of Tony Prince's henchmen.
Eventually, Joey and the gang betray the family by stealing the diamonds and attempting to flee off to Las Venturas. Ray finds out about this and sends Niko off to retrieve the diamonds. Joey and the crew dismiss Niko's calm negotiation and are chased down by the latter. Soon after, Niko wipes out the entire crew, retrieving the diamonds.
