Joseph England is a major supporting character in the TV series, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin. He was a former classmate of Angela Waters and befriended her as they were fellow outcasts, until the latter began hanging out with a group of girls and Joseph saw less and less of her, resenting the girls for taking Angela away from him.
He was portrayed by Michael Maize as an adult who also voiced the Psycho Black Ranger in Power Rangers in Space and Power Rangers Lost Galaxy and Skinners in Red Dead Redemption 2 and by Miles McKenzie as a teen.
Biography[]
Joseph calls Imogen Adams at her Halloween party and claims that he knew Angela Waters and the two make plans to meet up later that week at the train yard where Joseph lives. When they meet up, Joseph reveals he was in love with Angela but that the two never dated. He also reveals how Angela's mother, Rose, came to the school with a butcher knife after her daughter's suicide and tried to stab multiple students, but that she was stopped before anyone was hurt. When they are done talking, Joseph requests his money that was promised and Imogen hands him the cash before they leave.
Later when Imogen visits Angela Waters' old home, she get scared when she sees A's mask and runs downstairs to see Joseph entering. She tries to apologize but Joseph just remarks how he warned her to let it go before pulling out a knife and starting hunting her upstairs. When Joseph has gotten Imogen cornered up in a room, the latter slams a vase into his skull before running away.
When Imogen and the other girls return to the Waters House, Joseph is gone and they later find him having been hanged by Archie Waters back at the train car.

- Joseph bears similarities with Mona Vanderwaal from the original series.
- Joseph believed that The Sinners "stole" Angela from him, like how Mona believed that The Liars "stole" Hanna from her.
- Both of them were social outcasts and was considered geeky and unpopular.
