Joseph Gorman is the main antagonist in the movie Abbott and Costello Meet the Keystone Kops.
He is first seen selling a movie studio to Willie Piper, played by Costello. When the studio turns out to be a broken-down building, Willie and his friend Harry (Abbott) chase Gorman to Hollywood. There, Gorman disguises himself as a Russian movie director named Sergei Touminoff and tries to make Willie and Harry suffer a fatal "accident" while he plots to steal money from the studio he works for. After Willie and Harry discover his true identity and catch him robbing a safe, another chase ensues. This time, they recruit the Keystone Kops to help them, unaware that they are just actors. Fortunately, the real police are waiting for Gorman when he arrives at a nearby airport and arrest him.
