~ Juandissimo to Remy. |
Juandissimo Magnifico is a supporting antagonist in the Fairly OddParents franchise.
He is the ex-boyfriend of Wanda, Cosmo's archenemy, and Remy Buxaplenty's fairy godfather.
He was voiced by Carlos Alazraqui who also voiced Denzel Crocker in the same show.
Appearance[]
Juandissio is a muscular Latin fairy. He has long black hair with purple streaks tied in a ponytail, facial hair, and purple eyes. He wears a white shirt, which he rips and creates a new one constantly, black pants, and a purple belt. Like most fairies, he has a gold crown and bug like wings.
Personality[]
Juandissimo is portrayed as an incredibly lustful and passionate Latino fairy who is still in love with Wanda Fairywinkle-Cosma, despite her being married. He is frequently shown ripping his shirt off swiftly with his muscles in order to show off his ripped physique. This indicates that Juandissimo is arrogant and self-absorbed.
Despite being perverted and egotistical, Juandissimo is still capable of love. He truly does care for his fairy godson, Remy and goes to great lengths to aid and serve him. Along with granting his wishes, he acted as a father figure to him such as giving him attention and comfort when upset. He's even willing to break the rules, which he normally never does, so he could reunite with him.
Biography[]
During high school, Juandissimo was an exchange student started a relationship with Wanda, but they broke up, and Wanda married Cosmo. Despite them breaking up, Juandissimo still has feelings for Wanda, as he hits on her repeatedly when they talk. Eventually, the three fairies learned their godchildren live in the same town.
Juandissimo became Remy Buxaplenty’s fairy godfather once it was clear he is miserable with his home life. He, like Cosmo and Wanda, grants Remy all the wishes he could ask for even though his godson is wealthy enough to simply buy anything. He became Remy's pet "oddly colored" ferret as a cover while he does his job. Even though he is seen most of the time without Remy and is a narcissistic womanizer, he still made time for him and the two developed a strong godparent-godchild bond. Along with granting him wishes, he also acted as an actual parent to him such as giving him the attention and emotional comfort his birth parents never give him due to essentially abandoning him. Remy's parents were not only too busy with business to spend time with him, they barely act like parents. They only spend two minutes a day with him, never call him by his name, regularly forgetting they have a son, and only care about their family's wealth.
He first appeared in "Fairy, Fairy, Quite Contrary". He grants Remy his wishes which made Timmy suspicious of him and went to Remy's place to spy on him. There, Juandissimo, disguised as Remy's ferret, watches his godson's parents ignore him when he wanted to hug them. They simply tell him to spend time with his ferret as they left. Timmy noticed his floating crown and realized that Remy has his own fairy godparent, which he used a wish to make Wanda admit it's her ex. Through a telescope, Remy discovered he isn't the only godchild in Dimmsdale and wondered why he didn't know sooner. Juandissimo reveals that godchildren have to figure it out on their own since godparents can't out each other. Remy wanted to wish them away, but Juandissimo also admits that Remy has to either convince Timmy to get rid of them of win a magic duel. After losing, Remy lost both his godfather and his memories of him. Feeling sorry for him, Timmy wished that Remy would be able to spend more time with his birth parents, leading to his family being stranded on a deserted island. While trying to find something edible, he spotted Juandissimo as a turtle, who is checking up on him even though he wasn't supposed to. This somewhat triggered Remy's memory, admit that he reminded him of an old friend but can't remember. Remy brought him as food, much to his horror.
In "Remy Rides Again", it's revealed that Remy's parents once again ignore Remy in favor of their new businesses they started while stranded; his father struck oil and his mother opened a beach resort. Saddened by how much Remy was suffering from loneliness and hated doing odd jobs, Juandissimo came up with a plan to reunite with him and be his godfather once more even though fairies aren't allowed to make contact with their former godchildren. He transformed into a purple coconut and conked him on the head so he would remember his time as his godson. Angered and saddened that he lost the one person who cared about him, especially since Juandissimo couldn't comfort him when his parents went back to neglecting him so the plan will work, Remy came up with a revenge plot himself to improve Timmy's life so he won't need his godparents anymore and brought the "coconut" with him as evidence to show Timmy. As Cosmo and Wanda prepare to leave, he transformed from a coconut and revealed to be the one who manipulated Remy into doing everything. Jorgen then arrived to revealed he actually arranged everything so Remy and Juandissimo would reunite and the latter won't work at his favorite restaurant anymore since he is a terrible cook. Jorgen allows Juandissimo to be Remy's godfather again but he had to cook his rather inedible meals for Remy to punish the boy for his actions.
In the "The Big Bash", Juandissimo is invited to a party hosted by Cupid and brought Remy along to partake in a scavenger hunt. He makes a bet with Cosmo; if Remy and Juandissimo win then he can marry Wanda, but if Cosmo, Wanda, and Timmy win then Cosmo can have a shiny nickel. After giving Remy his time limo and putting everyone but Timmy and his fairies to sleep, the duo travel back in time.
In Teacher's Pet, he is one of the many Dimmsdale fairy godparents to be abducted by a genetically modified Crocker. Once freed he leads the others into taking their revenge on Crocker. He forcefully brushed his teeth and poured mouthwash after noticing how bad his dental hygiene is.
