Judalon Rose Smyth, most commonly known as Judalon, or Judalon Smyth, is a major antagonist in the 2024 Netflix biographical crime thriller Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, the second season in the anthology series, Monster.
She is the ex-lover and patient of Dr. Jerome Oziel who was dating him while also trying to replace his wife, she is the key part in the Lyle and Erik’s arrest as she confessed the existence of their confession tapes out of spite towards Dr. Oziel after their breakup.
She was portrayed by Leslie Grossman, who also portrayed Margaret Booth in American Horror Story: 1984 and Ursula Khan in American Horror Stories: Double Feature.
Biography[]
October 1989 to early March 1990[]
Sometime in the late to early 1980s Judalon Smyth became a patient to therapist Dr. Jerome Oziel during her time she and Oziel became a relationship behind Oziel wife’s back sometime Oziel told Judalon he was divorcing his wife unknowingly Oziel lied showing he loved his wife eventually Judalon found out that Oziel’s wife knew and stop sleeping with him she was not the only patient as Oziel had others with one of them being Erik Menéndez on October 31st Erik confessed to Oziel that he and his brother Lyle murdered their parents kitty and José.
After telling him Oziel told Erik he would return once outside ran to a payphone and called Judalon and told her to come to his office, once there Lyle arrived and sat in the waiting room once listening in on the conversation Judalon left hearing Lyle come to the door after during the night she asked Oziel if she can stay at his to which he said she’ll have the guest room and he’ll talk to his wife during her time at Oziel’s house she went into Stacy’s room telling her if she was her mother she would let her eat chocolate whenever she wanted unknowingly Stacy told Oziel causing him to kick Judalon out once realizing this she threatened Oziel then left after leaving she went to the police and reported the tapes that Oziel recorded of Lyle and Erik confessing to murdering their parents.
