Judd Birch is a supporting antagonist in Big Mouth. He is the punk older brother of Nick Birch, who commits crimes and gets into trouble with his parents and the police. He is villainous for vandalism, arson, theft, and torturing his little brother with his army of raccoons. Despite being rude to his brother, he does make it clear that he cares about him to his own way and wishes for the best for him.
He is voiced by Jon Daly.
Biography[]
Judd Birch was born in 1998, to Diane Birch and Elliot Birch and raised in a suburban household in Westchester, New York. He would be the first child in a family of three, with his younger sister Leah and little brother Nick following after. From the very beginning, Judd was immediately a problematic child, as a flashback from The Planned Parenthood Show, exhibited him lighting his sister's hair on fire when he was only a toddler.
Sometime during his middle school years, Judd ran away from home for a while. Eventually, Judd came back but upon his return, Judd made it ambiguous whether he was actually Judd or if he was an impostor, taking his place. Elliot told him that he believes he's his real son but even if he really was a clone, he'd love him even more.
Currently, Judd attends Bridgeton High School, with his sister, Leah. Little to nothing is known about what he does at school, as this is rarely ever shown. All we know is that he's familiar with a girl there named Telulah Lavigne, who has gotten the nickname "The Blowjob Machine", after Daniel spread a false rumor about her giving him a blowjob. Judd is also dating an unnamed goth girl from his school, whose only appearance was in the Valentine's Day special.
In "The Head Push", Judd and Leah threw a wild party, while Diane and Elliot were away. Judd brought in some alcohol and wanted to ensure that Nick wouldn't ruin the party, so he threatened to kill him if he snitched on him and Leah. Judd would constantly sling out slurs against Nick. Judd was more or less absent for the majority of the party, hiding out in the attic and crawl space behind the walls, spying on Nick the entire time for no reason.
In "Obsessed", Judd aided Nick in breaking into Diane's box of confiscated items by using hedge trimmers on the lock. He took out a bag of Nick's teeth out of it and left, making Nick feel afraid of what he would plan on doing with it later.
In "My Furry Valentine", Judd spent Valentine's Day in the attic on a date with his goth girlfriend. He told her that he trained a bunch of raccoons to serve as an army that would attack Nick. At the end of the episode, this is exactly what happened. Nick turned out the lights to go to sleeps and a bunch of raccoons came in and attacked him all throughout the night.
In "How to Have an Orgasm", Jessi Glaser came across him and his raccoons, vandalizing the garbage cans in the alley way and fell in love with him. Jessi masturbated while fantasizing about Judd for a while but in "Rankings", she asked him out and Judd painfully turned her down.
In "Nick Starr", it was shown that in the future year of 2025, Judd will become the leader of a cult, where he encourages people to join, so that they can be saved from the impending apocalypse. However, the only people who were seen joining his cult were raccoons.
