Judge Gavel is a minor antagonist of the animated web series, Inanimate Insanity, serving as the overarching antagonist of Everythings A-OJ.
He was a judge created by MePhone4 before the start of the series to get him out of legal troubles. Judge Gavel was the judge for the case of The People of Hotel Orange Juice vs. MePhone4, which the judge is being unprofessional and biased against MePhone4 and gave him 1 hour in prison before changing it to 1 day after Toilet assaulted him, yet didn't attempt to address all of the crimes committed in the courtroom itself.
He is voiced by Stephen Boyer.
Personality[]
Although he is well-meaning majority of the time, he proves himself as a corrupt official who intentionally gives low jail time to MePhone4 due to MePhone4 programming him to do so, just in case he got sued and had to be locked up. He would play the rest of the case very serious until that point. He is easily angered if someone tries to assault him and extends the jail time of the guilty verdict. He also appears to hate his job due to his annoyance of the cast wasting his time, and would rather move one rather than punishing Paper and Toilet for being biased against their clients. He also complains heavily about the fact he slams his head against his sound block.
Appearance[]
He is a tall brown and gold gavel. The middle of his head is noticeably thinner than the edges of it. His head has a gold band that goes around the entirety of the head as well.
Biography[]
The people of Hotel Orange Juice sues MePhone4 for trapping all of his contestants within a random closet that OJ, the owner, had no clue about even existing within his hallways. Judge Gavel starts the case for Hotel Orange Juice. Paper, as OJ's attorney, claims that MePhone4 used OJ's property to commit the crime of unlawful detention. Toilet get's angered and jumps on the two's table to argue with him but Judge Gavel hit his head against his sound block to get order back in place. Toilet goes back to his side of the room as Judge Gavel proceeds with Paper's opening statement. Paper alleged that MePhone4 has been known to imprison the contestants of his reality show just because they lost on it. Paper continues to say that he witnessed it first hand, as he had a alter ego made because of the PTSD he got from being stuck on Idiotic Island. MePad interveins and questions if Paper is biased against the defendant. Toilet interrupts and tells the judge they are going off track. Gavel is quite annoyed and just proceeds into the witnesses testimonies. Box goes first and gently leans on the microphone. It sways the crowd into crying or be in shock, meanwhile Judge Gavel is also crying at the testimony. Judge Gavel says that there is a difference between cruelty and what Box said, which we the audience can't hear. Gavel tells Box that he has never been so moved by a testimony. He finds MePhone4 guilty of unlawful detention, imprisoment, and a "freaking portal that just randomly appeared one day" and sentences him to 1 hour of prison. Toilet assaults the Judge in return and he extends it to one day. He also awards OJ the hosting duties of MePhone4. Judge Gavel slams his head against the sound block to end the case, he then yells in pain and complains to himself that he still does that even though it hurts.
It's revealed in the finale that Judge Gavel was made by MePhone4 for the show, meaning he wasn't a true judge.
