Judge Zachery Missen is a minor antagonist of the Image Comic series Spawn and the main antagonist in issue #30. He is a corrupt judge and secretly the leader of the Ku Klux Klan until confronted by the titular character.
History[]
For an unknown time, Zachery and the Klan members are causing destruction around New York to make the minorities leave from their homes, the Armstrong family and few others are the only ones remained. One night, Zachery along with the other members of the Ku Klux Klan attack Armstrong family's home and threatening them by burning their farm, but Spawn sabotage their vehicles and explodes. One of the Klans member shot Spawn in the head and thinking he was dead, they later left him hanged to a tree. Next morning, two of the Klan members by Spawn after he was recovered from the shot, Brad Armstrong later reported everything to the police that the Klans members murdered a man, but Zachery immediately dismissed it because the defense attorney said there was no evidence of a murder since the body was missing and his defendants were attacked as well. Missen later gathered the rest of the Klan members and vowed to Armstrong pay for attacking his one of his members.

Once Spawn discovered that he was the leader of the certain group, Spawn confront Zachery in his chambers and told him to meet him in midnight thursday at Armstrong's ranch, he then called his one of his Klans member to give a ten minutes head start then send in the cavalry. At thursday midnight, Zachery attack the ranch house alone and thinks it was Armstrong who was pretending to be his "dead" friend, Spawn. Spawn distracted Zachery and tied his neck with a rope. Before Spawn could have finish him, the other members of the Ku Klux Klan arrived and Zachery was confident that they would kill him and call him a fool, Spawn said he wanted to see just how well his friends will knew him and disappeared, as the Klansmen came inside and they found the judge, but his skin turned black and they were enraged to see a black man in a Ku Klux Klan uniform. They hang him from a tree and left him there, Zachery ironically died for becoming the one he hated the most and by being executed from the exact same people he called "brothers".
