Julia was the main villainess from Lifetime Movie Network's 2016 film Best-Selling Murder.
She was portrayed by Meghan Heffern.
Biography[]
Julia was novelist's Hannah Ryan's close friend, but their friendship soured when she engaged in an affair with Hannah's then-husband, Jason, while their marriage was in a rough patch, and went on to date him after his and Hannah's divorce. She was also a supposed aspiring writer; in fact, Hannah was her mentor. In a twisted attempt to achieve her goal, Julia broke into Hannah's apartment and murdered her publisher, with the actual murder coming after Hannah "killed" him in her novel. Later on, Julia attacked Darby in her apartment, doing so with a knife (Darby survived), and later fired a (non-fatal) shot at Austin before escaping.
Julia was planning to set up Jason for the murder, with that reveal coming after she admitted that she faked her pregnancy and subsequent miscarriage upon learning that Jason and Hannah were sleeping together again. She did so to test Jason's fidelity, but seeing that he failed (in her view), the evil Julia plunged a knife into his chest, killing him. Jason's murder was to be part of Julia's novel, claiming that she had to kill him in self-defense because he was going after her. The psychotic villainess later went after Hannah, brawling with her after Hannah knocked the knife from her possession. Julia was knocked out by Hannah, and she was later (presumably) arrested for the murders.
