Mrs. Julia Wicket (or just Mrs. Wicket) is the main antagonist of Mr. Bean: The Animated Series.
She is Bean's landlady who is usually shown to be a hot-headed, bossy, greedy, selfish, grumpy, unhappy, evil-hearted and overweight old woman. She owns an evil one-eyed cat named Scrapper, who also doesn't like Bean as it used to be owned by him when he was young until he gave it away. Julia cares for Scrapper very much and gets angry whenever she sees Bean or anyone else attacking him.
She was voiced by Sally Grace in her first villainous role.
Appearance[]
Mrs. Wicket is an elderly woman with glasses and a purple dress and in her pink nightgown.
Personality[]
In the series, she is usually shown to act antagonistic, cruel, grumpy, hot-headed, and generally extremely negative towards Mr. Bean, even using him as her slave, as shown in the season 3 episode "A Royal Makeover" and the Season 1 episode "Super Trolley". She strongly despises Mr. Bean because he ruined her wedding when he was a kid, but nevertheless allows him to stay at the upstairs apartment she owns. She is very short-tempered, and will yell and hit Bean (usually with her cane) if agitated. If angered enough, she will evict him from the apartment, as seen in various episodes such as Homeless, Dead Cat and The Fly, in which she has the right to do so. However, Bean is always allowed to move back to his apartment by the next episode. Since Season 4, she has been friendlier towards Mr. Bean, but is still mean towards him if he does not do her assigned errands.
Despite this, she acts nice towards her cat, Scrapper as stated above, whom Bean gave away when he was young, and will get angry at anyone (especially Mr. Bean) who tries to attack him, and cares for him very much, but not Bean. Unlike the first three seasons which she has a low, grumpier tone, her voice is now in high-pitched tone, possibly in order to fit with her kinder personality.
Out of all of the characters and antagonists, Julia has made the most appearances, appearing in almost all of the episodes.
